New Pokemon Revealed: Mamanbō

Oha Suta, a Japanese program, has revealed another new Pokemon for Generation V.

Not only does this show us some new backsprites, it gives us a new fish. Does it look familiar? It certainly seems like a Luvdisc evolution, don't you think? Nothing is confirmed yet, though, so take it with a grain of salt. (It also looks like a candy heart with hands, but that's just my opinion.)

Filb.de is reporting the fish as being named Mamanbō (ママンボウ), while the rocky craggy thing beside it is apparently Gigaiasu (ギガイアス).

Cool! We were just talking about this in the evolution thread in the V gen thing, and boom! Mamanbō! Better than candy hearts and if you ask me, doesn't Luvdisc seem to be going in the diraction of a flying fish design? and the craggy thing....well I'm sure I'll find some use for it XD

Edit: So its official, if it turns out, and this is probably a 2% chance of happening, that Mamanbō is indeed not related to Luvdisc, we should all grab a hat and eat it.

That thing had better be a Luvdisc evolution. Luvdisc desperately needs something to make it slightly less fail, and an evolution could take it from being worthless to under used. :'D

I do kind of like the design though, it's still simple, but cool. ^^

The name probably derives at least partially from 'manbō', the Japanese word for the Ocean Sunfish.

Even if it's not a Luvdisc evolution, which it really should be, I will have it.  Hopefully it's not as (somewhat/kinda) useless as Luvdisc (is/was)..

I'm gonna laugh really hard when it is announced that it isn't an luvdisc evo.  Seeing how Isshu is really far away from the other regions I'm gonna say it isn't, but seeing how Luvdisc is a water type (fish)  it very well could be

It looks so similar to Luvdisc--I'll be very surprised indeed if the two aren't related. That said I'm going to lol hard if this thing turns out to be OU and everyone considers it an awesome Pokemon.

My brain says that Mamabo is a flounder! I'm probably wrong though! But if it's not related to Luvdisc somehow, I'll join in on the hat eating with the rest of you guys.

Well, Luvdisc's japanese name was Rabukasu (Lovecus), while this thing is apparently Mamanbō, so we're not gonna get similarity by name. :l
