Pokemon Sunday reveals a new legendary and a bit of Triple Battle video

The new Pokemon Sunday episode has revealed to use a new legendary Pokemon: Victini, who just so happens to be the new Pokemon that was revealed as a preview for the fourteenth movie at the end of the thirteenth. The typing for this little critter has yet to be revealed, but it is #000 in the Isshu Dex, and can be obtained via the Liberty Ticket, a special Wi-Fi event availble from September 18th through October 18th. Victini appears to be in Black and White what Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy and Shaymin were: a cute pixie-esque Pokemon that is event-only and full of squee, but this is just a bit of speculation.

Pokemon Sunday also showed some gameplay during a Triple Battle, and gave a better view into the movepools of the new Pokemon. Gochiruzeru and Rankurusu knowing Psybeam, Gochiruzeru using a move that looks very similar to Faint Attack, Munna utilizing Hypnosis, and Chiirami helping out with You First.

That's about it for now, so until the next update, we'll be patiently waiting for new info.

Hmm, I'm not really sure how I feel about Bikutini. It's kinda cute, but doesn't really reach the same cuteness level that the previous "Mew Legendaries" have. The design looks decent, though. I'm interested to find out the typing of it, though.

The name of event alludes even more to New York City and America as a whole, so that's pretty cool and interesting. Also, the Dex number is intriguing, seeing as they've never done a #000 before. Should be pretty cool, though. ^^

I'm sad because I was hoping for something completely brand new. And because Bikutini is really not cute at all. I mean seriously, Jirachi and Mew and Shaymin were all adorable (I never really found Celebi to be that cute) and then Bikutini is just ugly. Gaaaah I don't like it. If I miss an event or something that gives this out I probably won't be too bummed.

And what? It's #000? That makes no sense. I hope I don't have to look at first thing whenever I open my Pokedex :\

I agree. It just doesn't have that cuteness. Hell, I'm somewhat surprised that thing is a legendary. Also, there can only be one #000, and that's Missingno. (Yes, that was a bad joke.)

Oddly enough, I kinda like this little guy. It really doesn't strike me as being "legendary", but I guess some of the other cutesy ones didn't either. I find it more attractive than Manaphy, Celebi, and Jirachi, but that's mostly because I'm partial to animal-like critters. Still, not a bad design. Here's hoping the event item is widely distributed.

Here's hoping they realize making event only pokemon is GRRRRRR for those of us who can't go to these events. Unless it's simple things like the gamestop events...but if they're not. Well.

Pretty much all the event-only Pokemon of Gen IV have been distributed via WiFi (expect Arceus to finally make an appearence when the the 12th movie DVD is released in the Autumn) as well as Nintendo putting in quite a bit of effort in making sure that the physical events get around fairly as well.

It's officially a completely moot complaint these days. If you can't pick up the Pokemon either through these very simple methods, or by getting a friend to get a spare from one of these simple methods, that's really your own failing - not GameFreak or Nintendo's.

It may have taken them a long time to finally get it sorted - but they very much have now.

I just noticed the butt wings after reading your post.  Butt I like it looks better then some of the other legendaries.
