Enigma Stone to be distributed to NA and PAL regions.

It's been announced that starting on the 31st of this month (Saturday) the Enigma Stone will be available to download via Mystery Gift onto your HeartGold and SoulSilver games in Europe, North America, and Australia.  The event will run until August 27th.

The Enigma Stone is the item that will allow you to obtain either Latias or Latios.  HeartGold players will be able to catch Latios, while in SoulSilver Latias will be the one available to you.  Both of them will, of course, be holding Soul Dew.  Be sure not to miss this event, folks!

You said they'll be holding the Soul Dew, when actually the Enigma Stone turns into the Soul Dew. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Yaay. Now I can finally complete the duo. Now the only legendaries I'm missing are Mew (if we ever get it), Kyogre, Rayquaza,one of the shiny legendary beast, and Celebi :D (well the oficial one anyway). Wonder why they have to wait so late to bring those events over here? I mean, we'll still be getting events for HGSS when Japan's receiving almost two or three events. Oh well, hopefully I'll find something for the Lati-duo to do for now.

I heard that there is a Mew event, but it's only been released in Japan.

Thank the gods, I've been waiting forever for this! I can finally get a Latios for my Latias! I'm going to use them for an all Hoenn team. Or, an all legend all Hoenn team. I can't wait!

I have Mew! I got it back in '06 at Toys R Us.  I got it in my Emerald and migrated to Platinum.

Yeah, there was a Mew wifi event in Japan shortly after the Enigma Stone give away, so hopefully they'll follow suite in NA and PAL and we'll get it after this event.

I'm most excited about the little storyline that comes along with it, as it's always fun to see Steven Stone in the Gen. IV games. :3

Same here. I love all of the extra side stories included in Plat/HG/SS. :)

Still, I'll have other uses for Latios/Latios this time... Gonna try soft-resetting for a decent nature and IVs since all of my previous Latis have bad natures and horrid IVs. :P
