Pulled this off of the google cache thing. It was a stickied post for posting PRP characters, starte by Linkachu.

Mainstream basically means RP characters you plan to use in multiple RPs and not just as "one shots".

Here are some ideas to use when creating a character. Feel free to add your own categories or leave some of these out. It's just to get you thinking:

Do not post move sets for your Pokemon. This is not like the games. Pokemon CAN know more than four moves. If you must, use the Anime as a guide, ie. with experience a Pokemon can learn any attack in their move pool AND forever on know it/use it.

Have fun, and remember - don't pull a Kitten on us with godmoding characters

Identifying Marks: Hair is messed to the point where it looks like cat ears. His skin has a dusky tone; has pronounced cat-like canines.

Personality: Withdrawn for the most part, but has a tendency towards random outbursts of fact and… perversion
Skills: Good balance, fairly adept at climbing, hiding and hoarding
Past: Starting his trainer’s career at the age of eleven (after having left home at the age of ten), Kari left with Empress and, finding himself suddenly out of pocket due to a battle gone awry, tried his hand at the old family trade. Due to his ‘trade’ he tends to stick to the shadows and avoid the law. In the infrequent times he has encountered the Officer Jenny’s, he has been nothing but courteous and full of tongue-twisting language. He also dabbles as a high-paid and rather secretive escort for anyone willing to pay.
Family: Distant mother and father who he speaks to infrequently, but at length when he does.
Love Relationships: None as yet, he goes with the flow and cares little for petty things like gender.

      Kimzie Vy is a 17 year old girl (born on March 20) who lives in the Resort Area. She is 5'2" and weighs 125 lbs, having a petite body. She has long black hair which reaches mid-thigh, although she usually sports it in a ponytail. She doesn't like to wear the same outfit, however her most recent one is a white blouse with a purple bow, dark gray vest, and a mint green Lolita skirt. Despite her caring and nurturing nature, she is obsessed with vodka, being an alcoholic, and does not make the wisest decisions. She is also not a good judge of character, as she has a one-sided love relationship with Isaac, a chain-smoking 33 year old man from Goldenrod City, Johto.
      Born in Jubilife City, Kimzie was taught that the only thing that mattered was status, fame, and fortune. She didn't care for it and despised her greedy family, except for her loving grandmother in Johto. At age 9, her grandmother died and had left Kimzie her entire fortune, which infuriated everyone. She was then hated and was treated as an outcast. Her parents presumably died, and was eventually adopted by a wealthy family from Hearthome City, seeing as none of her relatives would bother to take care of her. This new family was on very good terms with Fantina and are familiar with the Pokemon Contest Hall. However, Kimzie was a horrible Coordinator and decided to become a Pokemon trainer instead. After 3 years of traveling throughout Sinnoh, she then ended her journey with all 8 gym badges, and settled in her ranch & villa in the Resort Area. She now works as the owner and waitress of a Pokemon Cafe, in which every staff member is a Pokemon Kimzie had caught and trained.

Dray the Male Infernape
Ability: Blaze
Special Features: The Golden Chest Plate is higher than regular Infernapes.
      Dray is Kimzie's starter Pokemon. He has a Jolly Nature which is obviously revealed with the exception of Harley's presence. He is very strong willed and enjoys sweet food. He has a slight crush on his trainer Kimzie and is very overprotective, although he denies it.

Harley the Female Absol
Ability: Pressure
      Harley has a Naughty nature and a love of spicy food (which is in honor of Dray.) She is obsessive towards the Infernape and can get extremely aggressive if she senses competition/rivalry for his love. Although her intentions are not as innocent as one might like it to be, deep down she's kindhearted and simply wants him to notice her.

Big Bang the Male Pikachu
Ability: Static
Special Features: Has a large tuft of hair on his head. His ears are also long and droopy like a rabbit's.
        Big Bang is the leader and "father" of Kimzie's team. He is also the oldest and smallest Pokemon in it, and is constantly reminded of the fact. He is Modest and likes to relax due to the constant stress his teammates give him. He was born in a large clan of Pichu evolutionary lines due to the fact that his original trainer was a breeder and competitive battler. Finding no use for the rest of the family, his original trainer killed off the clan on a whim, and harshly trained Big Bang into the powerful yet sorrowful Pikachu you see today. He was traded over to Kimzie, and although reluctant at first, have taken a liking to his young trainer.

Burkhard the Male Garchomp
Ability: Sand Veil
          Burkhard was traded over to Kimzie by a foreign man from Germany. Although he tries to act tough, which he's successful in doing, he is actually very Impish. He is only second to oldest and strongest, the first being Big Bang. He is in love with Grace, and often refers to her as his wife. Because of his old age, Burkhard occasionally suffers from arthritis. However, he tries to overcome this, and has carried his trainer over long distances before.

Grace the Female Meganium
Ability: Overgrow
          Aside from the large fortune Kimzie's grandmother gave her, Kimzie was also given her grandmother's first Pokemon - a Bashful Meganium named Grace. Like Burkhard and Big Bang, Grace is extremely old. However, she's the wisest of the elderly trio, and is the most experienced battler on Kimzie's team. She shares a mutual love with Burkhard, and refers to him as her husband.

Sakura the Blissey
Ability: Natural Cure
            Sakura is the youngest of Kimzie's pokemon team. She is very Timid, likes sweet food, and looks up to Grace as a motherly figure. She is also kind-hearted and enjoys the simple pleasures of life. She is the first egg that Kimzie had ever hatched before, and had picked up habits and mannerisms from her trainer as well. Sakura, like her trainer, is a poor judge of character and, according to her teammates, has the same odd taste in men. This is because of the fact that all of Kimzie's past relationships involved people with contrasting age and height differences from her, while Sakura is in love with Big Bang despite age and size differences.

As stated before, he plays drums, and listens to music a lot, preferably Metallica, Alice In Chains, Slayer, System Of A Down, Skillet, Sum 41, Dethklok, and many other bands. He also plays soccer and football.

Personality: Quiet, generally in a good mood, but can be tempermental. Also slightly paranoid. Blarg is also a huge adrenaline junkie.

Identifying Marks: Has an orange aura, which smells like woodsmoke. Has a burn mark on his neck from where a Houndoom burnt him.
Personality: Bright and cheerful.
Skills: Can create fire using his aura.
Past: Bashamo's parents died when he was very young. He was taken in by his Mother's sister and her husband. When he was nine, turning ten that month, he saw some fire in the nearby forest. He ran in to investigate, and found a pack of Houndoom ganging up on a Torchic. He ran in to save it, but aggravated the pack further. His cousin ran in to find Bashamo, and saw what was going on. He sent out his Swampert to defeat the pack, but not before Bashamo got burnt by the pack leader. The torchic was ever grateful to him, and left with Bashamo for his pokemon journey later that year.

Hair: Light brown, short but shaggy. Bangs hang down to just above his eye brows. Flips up the slightest bit at the ears.

Clothing: Dark blue jeans, green and white tennis shoes, and a forest green hooded sweatshirt. The sweatshirt’s color has bled out a bit and is frayed at the edges and around the hood. The bottoms of his jeans are frayed as well, and the knees are worn down a bit. He also has a green Poketch.
Identifying Marks:  None really
Musculature: Decent build, a bit muscular. In pretty good shape, but mainly just lean.
Personality: Eoin is a laid back and level headed guy. He usually laughing and smiling and just shrugs most things off for whatever reason. Eoin doesn't let a whole lot bother him in his day to day life. Despite being really laid back, he has a bit low of self esteem. He doesn't really think too highly of himself and doesn't care if others insult him or anything. Eoin often won't do things just because he wants to do them, seeing as he thinks that he's not good enough to succeed (in Pokemon related things and in life). However, Eoin will go to great, and sometimes a bit drastic lengths, for those he's close to. Eoin has a kind and tender heart and loves all living things.
Skills: Eoin is good at handling Pokemon and connects well with them, especially young Pokemon.
Past: Grew up on Cinnabar Island, but after it erupted his parents relocated the family to Lavaridge Town, where Eoin's father is from. Eoin has traveled around Hoenn, Kanto and Johto, but only has five badges between the three regions. Eoin has occasionally visited Cinnabar since moving away, catching up with old friends that still live there.
Family:  Father (Seamus Flannigan), Mother (Bridget Flannigan), Younger Sisters (Mackenzie and Molly Flannigan), and a whole lot of extended family throughout Hoenn.
Love Relationships: Has a crush on a girl he knew on Cinnabar.

Anaklusmos (Squirtle) Male

Hidden Power: Ghost
Special Features: Anaklusmos' fur a few shades darker then a Squirtle's fur usually would be.
Personality: Anaklusmos is a born leader and has always been mature and focused. He always likes to be in the know. He is very friendly and shares Eoin's soft spot for baby Pokemon. Anaklusmos is very brave and has a very good sense of right and wrong. He is very often the one who has to motivate Eoin to do things. Anaklusmos is looked up to by all of Eoin's other Pokemon and he takes this responsibility on his shoulders without complaint.
History: Anaklusmos was bred in captivity, thus a pure bred, for Professor Oak's research lab. He was just a baby when Eoin arrived at the lab to choose his starter Pokemon. Whilst Eoin was playing with all the other little baby Pokemon in the field he spotted a little Squirtle that stood out from all the rest. Not only was this particular Squirtle of a darker shade then the others, but there seemed to be some sense of incredible and burning focus in the gaze that it had fixed on Eoin. The little blue turtle stunned Eoin silent. All of the other baby Pokemon behave like just that, babies; this Squirtle was so mature for being so young. Eoin knew immediately that there was some eerie connection between himself and this Squirtle, and thus he chose it as his starter. Eoin soon after dubbed him 'Anaklusmos' and the two returned to Hoenn. Eoin and Anaklusmos spent years together going all over Hoenn, and parts of Kanto and a bit of Johto. They grew to have an incredibly close friendship. Anaklusmos is rarely in his Pokeball, and usually at Eoin's side. 

Kumiho (Vulpix) Female

Special Features:[/b] Kumiho has a very particular hair and tail style that she makes Eoin keep in perfect condition.
Personality: Very dainty and likes to be treated like a princess and spoiled. She doesn't like getting dirty or messing, nor is she particularly fond of battling. Kumiho loves to just lie around and be groomed my Eoin. She also enjoys to nap in warm places and cuddle up to people and Pokemon that she likes. If somebody messes up her fur, she can be very angry and vengeful even.
History: Kumiho was given to Eoin as an new born shortly before his family moved to Lavaridge from Cinnabar. Kumiho has traveled around with Eoin before anyone else and always sleeps on his chest. She has a very close relationship with Eoin, as well as his baby sister Molly.

Zenju (Nuzleaf) Male

Special Features: N/A
Personality: Acts very stealthily and tries to be as ninja-like as possible. Constantly looking over his shoulder and around every and any corner. Zenju is incredibly loyal and protective of his master. He doesn't easily come to respect people, it must be earned in battle. Is very in tune with nature and his surroundings.
History: Was originally a very mischievous Pokemon who would attack and play pranks with on travels who went by him, and because nobody could ever spot him when he would attack there started up a legend in the area about him in the area. Eoin, whilst traveling with his father, came to the area and heard about the stories and Eoin's father decided that they should take a look into it. Eoin's father used his Dusclops to flush Zenju out and expose him. He then had Eoin challenge the Nuzleaf to a battle and Eoin was able to catch him. And because of his connection with nature, Eoin named him Zenju (Derived from Zen Jitsu = Nature Art).

Goldenrod Runaway Karu

Hair: Shoulder length black hair with slight curls.

Eyes: Blue

Clothing: Black cargo pants held up by a trainers belt. To match he wears a black, sleeveless jacket outlined with silver, a zip running down the middle outlined in the same colour. Beneath is a dark blue sleeveless shirt. Karu always has the jacket zipped right up unless in a hot place. On his left wrist is a silver bracelet, fashioned to look like two intertwined vines. Along the bracelets are discreet indents to attach badges.

Identifying Marks: None

Musculature: Average for a frequent traveller.

Personality: Tries to be cheery, but often doesn't manage so well. Has difficulty making new friends and presenting himself, though is solidly led by his emotions and urge to seek out new things.

Skills: None

Past: As a child, Karu had a difficult time. Because a strain of mental condition that caused unprovoked mood swings was common in his family with himself the sole exception, there was never a quiet moment. He lived with this and persevered to one day escape from it all, and get a pokemon like his friends. His mother would always buy him things to make up for anger, but never once let him go out and get a pokemon. Even his older sister, with her Murkrow and Sneasel was still disapproving of his want for a pokemon.

When it finally came to his 16th birthday, he up and went with his savings and bought two pokeballs, a trainer belt, Pokegear and a custom 'badge bracelet' with intention to attend one of the rare days where a 'starter pokemon' could be obtained and catch his own. When he returned later on that day his mother lost it, screaming at how his Cyndaquil was a 'rodent' and much worse. In the dead of night he left with his Cydaquil, whom he had affectionately nicknamed Cherry, to meet with some friends on the other side of town.

After a few days, his mother came looking for him. In a desperate bid to escape he fled to the window, only to find he was three stories high. Down in the grass, a small Bellsprout was resting in the early morning sun. After some argument and a bribe of a few berries, the Bellsprout used its Vine Whip to help Karu down. With his backpack tossed down from the window by his friend, the three fled the city into Ilex Forest.

By the time the group had reached the other side, Karu had battled, won over and captured the Bellsprout. Naturally because of the injuries both pokemon had sustained he was quick to flee to the pokemon center and heal them.

After some time travelling(or rather running from his family...) he came across a map and a Good Rod to have of his own, giving him the opportunity to confront any threats to his pokemon team. After a few boring, average Goldeens and Magikarp he finally came across the unusually curious clam pokemon that was Shellder, clamped onto his fishing rod. After an arduous hour of removing the little creature he realised on some mental scale that the journey wasn’t so simple.

Since then, Karu has earned the first thee badges of the Johto region with his pokemon now evolved, with his sights set on adventure more than winning over gyms, this trainer is also seeking out a new home and earning the trust of his pokemon.

Cherry has a silver anklet similar to Karu's bracelet.
Acquired as a Cyndaquil, Cherry was Karu's first pokemon. Cherry is typically a very serious pokemon in battle though when removed from that situation is a far more inquisitive individual, never straying far from his trainer.

This little Cyndaquil is quite timid and often hides behind Karu, Cherry or Red Silk.

A gift from a relative in Hoenn, Karu cherishes this pokemon as a memoir of this cousin that disappeared following a family argument to become a dragon type trainer. One day Karu intends to find him and challenge him as an equal, him being part of the reason Karu ever became a trainer aside from the pressure of family not to do so. This pokemon is an embodiment of hope for Karu from his early days and was only recently recovered from mother.

This pokemon in particular was one of Karu's early pokemon, developing an attachment to the younger pokemon. He is nicknamed so because an Ariados will leave a string leading back to their nest and as such even as a Spinarak this pokemon proved particularly vicious when dealing with other pokemon, especially in the instance of interfering with the youngling about him. This pokemon has an obviously caring nature with unrelenting defensiveness.

An embarrassing tale for Karu, this Bellossom was found in the mouth of Lemongrass. Having rescued it he took it too a pokemon center and attempted to make it up to the small creature by taking it as his companion for a while to care for it, although it refused to leave after some month together. Since then he incorporated into his dubbed "Cutemon" or "Junior" team. She is an often cheerful and friendly pokemon, only shying away from Victreebell for fear of a second bite.

Karu's second seaborne companion, this Chinchou managed to take down his beloved Ryujin. As snap reaction he set Lemongrass loose and captured the pokemon. Providing to infact be quite timid and childish, he developed a liking for the little creature. It often ends up perched on his shoulder or cradled in his arms.

The last member of Karu's "junior" team, Sahara is a feisty little creature he encountered on a run of the Safari Zone. After spending some time with the rest of the team Sahara developed an admiration for Red Silk, wanting to equal him as protector of the group. This often shows when she leaps in front or alongside other members of the team to handle a threat head on or attempts ridiculous 'heroic' things.

Experienced Swimmer - Having grown up in Pacifidlog Town, Larenth had plenty of time to practise her swimming technique.

Atheticist - Always practising in the desert with her beloved dragon Pokémon, Larenth has learnt over time to traverse both the unsure sands and craggy rocks quite well.

Past: Born and raised in Pacifidlog Town with her mother and sister, Larenth's Father disappeared before she was born with her older brother. As a method of handling an energetic child, Larenth was always taught to believe in the various legends of the world as a method of encouragement for work, "Only hard workers will see Mirage Island", "Legendary Pokemon only appear to those worthy, you want to see them, don't you?"

As this went on for much of her early life the child was essentially indoctrinated into hunting rare pokemon and running head first into challenges yet when she asked for her own pokemon, the little girl was always met with the rejection of, "You still need to show us how strong you can be." By her eighth birthday the little girl had set forth to her mother and sister with a determination like fire in her eyes that she would win the annual swimming race in exchange for a pokemon of her own.

Dismissing it as nonsense her family permitted her to race against the young almost-teens. Three months later when the race came the little girl as bold as brass blew away the competition in record time for her age group. Stunned and defeated, her parents were made to finally yield a pokemon to her. As a sort of joke, they offered the girl a Feebas, expecting it to be rejected in favour of another. Much to their shock the unusual little one before them accepted the pokemon and ran right from the winner's stand with it, training immediately.

Life very much so continued on in this manner, until young teenage years arrived and it became apparent of the level of conflict that did occur between her mother and sister. Being as bold as she was, Larenth naturally stepped in with the mistake of taking her sister's side first. Within the month she was sent away to live in Slateport, her older sister already moving away within a week of the argument.

Distraught and upset by this brash rift cut in their family, Larenth took to running away with her pokemon to train at either the beach or along the route to the north. Meeting a mysterious travelling trainer who she immediately challenged in a fit of rage and lost to, the foreigner recognised the determination within her and imparted her with a gift befitting such a bold personality, a Dratini egg.

With this pokemon her love of dragons began, feeling one step closer to dragons. Hearing tales from trainers of the evolutionary line of Trapinch, Larenth immediately set to the north with her pokemon to capture one and train it devotedly. Switching between environments to keep the pokemon and herself prepared for hardships ahead she finally decided it was time to begin her own adventure.

The day of her 17th birthday she declared to her mother and sister she was going to go on her own adventure, defeat all challengers who would dare name themselves gym leaders and find a legendary pokemon of her own. Before a word of reply could be uttered with hands on hips and pokemon all about her the girl strode from the house and went on her way.

Two years later with five badges in hand, Larenth has decided it is time to begin her chase of rare and legendary pokemon in earnest.

Personality: Weiss as a person is generally laid back, taking on random threads of adventure or friendship as he feels it come his way with a calm demeanour. In situations of pressure he often thinks things over then goes for whatever seems to work best for him at that moment, all of this points out that as a person Weiss is not very long term minded in terms of personal ambitions, often floating on through the world dismissively and only taking interest in what he values as an advancement to his dream or a morale obligation. As such, this makes him very easy to bait with an adventure.

Past: Weiss had a relatively quiet life, even for someone living in the busting Driftveil City. He'd always be sitting out quietly amongst woods and wildlife until the stars crossed the sky and even then he'd stare at them with his solitary companions for company. Like most kids the most eventful thing in his life for years after was a family quarrel, never having so much as a harsh incident aside from having to deal with until around eight or nine he discovered his father denying he even existed and the increased frequency of his mother's arguments began from there.

Once he reached the uncertain age of fifteen he ranted on at his mother about how he was going on an adventure and no matter how loud she would shout the teen would not turn back. Naturally she did shout, very loudly. Even as her son turned his back away and walked through the door she didn't stop screaming. It didn't help the fact that he knew this wasn't an adventure, it was escape and one his mother feared had been long due when following the example of his runaway friends.

This catalyst in the string of the last four years was what made him decide to up and leave home. First his friend in Johto disappeared from home along with their cousin in Sinnoh, Weiss's brother meeting an untimely death by heart attack in Snowpoint City in an effort to find them both. The brunette's mother was having trouble paying for them both to live so he knew once she pulled herself together things were financially better for her and his younger sibling upon departure, leaving behind his Serperior with a promise to come back for him.

Weiss spent the next two years making meager progress in travelling and taking a few odd jobs here and there to keep going. Unlike most trainers Weiss has abandoned the ideal of becoming champion and conquering some string of gyms and a league for the sake of glory and some shiny metal badges. In his opinion he could still train pokemon and be happy without an award announcing he trained his pokemon to a certain degree, even frowning upon the more competitive trainers. It was not until the point where a familiar trainer from Opelucid travelled with him for a short time that the teen's eyes were finally opened to the challenge people found and appreciated in the challenge of a pokemon battle.

It has been one month since that trainer disappeared mysteriously, leaving Weiss behind. Taking on three gyms consecutively in pursuit of the trainer through his title, the joy of a pokemon battle soon dimmed in his heart once more - Leaving him to chase the legacy of the trainer before him.

Then they were separated. The storm put them out in different places entirely. They were stuck, with only their Pokemon, the Houndoom twins, with them to help and guide them.
Gradually, they befriended more Pokemon. However, they became like polar opposites. Jynx was certain that she'd find Kumiko once more, but Kumiko was sure that Jynx was dead and became who she is because of that.
Jynx was eventually found by Silver, after collapsing from exhaustion. Silver, having learnt his lesson, took her to his home and cared for her until she woke up. She mistook him for Lance at first, but the found out that he was Silver and liked him even more as he had no real reason to save her as he did.

Personality: Tora is a very shy teen and constantly stutters and blushes when talking to other people. She has a habit of petting soft things when nervous, which ends up being either her hair or one of her pokémon. Even though she is shy, Tora becomes someone completely different when battling. The better she is, the more confidence she gains during said battles. But after which, whether she lost or not, she becomes very shy once more when she is addressed to. She is quite confident though during pokémon contests, for she wears a flaming mask and costume and portrays as ‘Moltressa’

History: Tora grew up with only her father at his pokémon care center/ farm, a large reserve made specially to watch and nurture other trainer's pokémon, until she was of age to start her journey as a pokémon trainer. When she hit of age though, she was taken to see her mother in the Hoenn region. There she was given her first pokémon, her Torchic Zurro. From there she traveled everywhere she possibly could.
Tora loves all types of pokémon except for ghost types. She fears them for reasons only known to her. She refused to explain why to anyone but people she truly trusts. For some reason though, she keeps a Haunter with her, which was a gift from her Father.

Zurro is Tora’s starter pokémon and partner. He has a rash nature and can be quite stubborn with others, but come time to battle, he is a well oiled fighting machine. Not very many people have been able to defeat this duo since he evolved, but Zurro never stops training to get stronger.

Shiny Flygon (Duuma)
Male
Duuma is very impulsive and usually gets into fights with Zurro. As a Trapinch, he was given to Tora at the beginning of her journey by Sean, a Dragon trainer and good friend of Tora’s. Very much an attention hog, Duuma loves battling and contests.

Haunter (Rex)
Rex was a gift to Tora from her father after she had acquired her first gym badge. When she first met Rex though, Tora freaked, but refused to give her father's gift back just because she was scared. Rex is rarely used by Tora, but does break out of it's ball occasionally and messes with her.

Riolu (Luka)
Male
Riolu is just a hatchling. He wishes to prove his worth to Tora and the others by battling everyone and everything he can, though it usually ends with Luka on the ground crying out for Tora.

Luxio (Leea)
Female
Leea has grown quite attached to Tora since she was caught as a Shinx. She has a serious air about her, giving her better focus and power in battle. In contests, Leea is held until the battles since she doesn't really have a taste for the appeal round.

Past: Team Rocket killed his dad right before his eyes when he was 8 for protecting a pokemon, this has left him scarred for life.  He lived in goldenrod city as a kid and left with an eevee given to him by his mom when he was 10.  He sweeped through all the pokemon leagues with virtually no problems at all.  He’s gained many friends through his travels including a 14 year old girl, named Katrina who travels with him currently.

History/Personality:  He was Frank’s first pokemon and evolved after the Goldenrod gym when he found a perculiar orange stone outside of the gym.  He is normally docile but gets very aggressive during battle.  During a forest fire in the Sinnoh region, he saved the lives of Frank and Katrina, along with 3 others by manipulating the flames to create a path in which they could escape the blaze.

History/Personality:  She is very aggressive and only shows compassion and docile behavior to those she trusts(Frank, Katrina and their pokemon).  She was Frank’s second pokemon, she was caught as a teddiursa whose mother was just killed by team rocket.  Frank later used her to destroy the rocket grunts who killed her mother.  Although she is Frank’s pokemon, she has a particularly strong bond with Katrina.  Katrina once barrowed her to take on the famous Sapphire in a pokemon contest. (yes, I chose the world of pokemon adventures over the anime.)

History/Personality:  Fury was caught in Blackthorne City as a charmeleon when it challenged Flame to a battle and got utterly defeated.  It has a strong bond with Frank and like all of his pokemon, would give his life to protect Frank.  It evolved into Charizard During the battle with Lance and then Swepped through Lance’s entire team.  He is one of Frank’s strongest attackers.

History/Personality:  When Frank finished things in Johto, he took a boat to Kanto.  He fished off the boat and the First pokemon he encountered was a Dratini, Frank caught it and named it Crusoe after the stowaway in a book.  It evolved into Dragonair when he used him in a battle against GymLeader Brock, and again into Dragonite, when he faced Blue(or Green for the non-americans) in the Viridian Gym.  It once led Frank off of a sinking ship when he was in the Hoenn region.

History/Personality:  SolarFlare joined Frank in the Sinnoh region as a Chimchar.  Frank found it weak at lake Verity and gave it some medicine and then went on his way.  SolarFlare followed Frank all the way to Jubilife City and then Frank realized it wanted to journey with him, so he secured it in a pokeball.  It evolved into Monferno when taking on Roark and then sweeped out Roarks whole team.  It evolved again into Infernape during the battle with Candace, but lost to her ambasnow soon after.  Its hard working and loyal.  SolarFlare will always take a challenge.

History/Personality:  Frank received Leon from a trade with another trainer.  At first Empoleon was cold a distant from Frank and his team.  One day everything changed.  They were all wandering in the forest when Leon was attacked by a gang of primape.  Frank saved Empoleon’s life, he threw a rock at one of the primape, the turned their aggression towards him and savagely attacked him leaving him severely injured after Beast and Fury cleaned house of them.  Empoleon took Frank onto his back and brought him to the pokemon center where Frank was there under intense care for 2 weeks.  Since then, Frank and Leon have had a very strong bond.

Skills: She’s a great cook and a skilled breeder and coordinator and although she is not yet aware of it, she can communicate with pokemon telepathically.
Past: She met Frank on the ferry ride to the Hoenn region.  Her and Frank worked together to take down the team aqua executive who was going to compromise the ferry ride.  She now travels with Frank all over the world, his journey has also become hers.  She left her hometown to start her adventure when she was 10 giving her a year’s more experience than Frank.  Her mother died of pneumonia when she was three and she lived with her father before she left on her journey.

History/personality: Flare is the first pokemon that Katrina has ever had.  Flare is very docile and affectionate.  Flare being a Ninetails is compatible with Flareon which explains why Flare had courtship with Flame, leaving an egg.  The egg hatched into a Vulpix that had the same coloration of an eevee.  Katrina sent the baby Vulpix to her little sister in Saffron City.  Flare helped in cheering up Katrina after Frank was put into the hospital because of the gang of primape, Katrina was brought up into tears for almost 2 days until she was able to speak to Frank.

Past: Grew up in a bland but perfectly stable household.  Had psychic abilities and was discovered by Team Rocket.  The organization took her in and trained her for a special project.  She excelled.  Lysis became quite powerful, so much that the project was abandoned, since she and her team could easily become a threat to Team Rocket.  The whole team was eliminated.  Before her death transfered all of her memories, her personality traits, her skills, her essence, into Tara Valens.  She did this because she had discovered prior that Tara also possessed psychic abilities; the exact same ones as herself.  Locked away by Muku, she awoke four years later, before being put away again; now a personality within Tara.

History/Personality:  Caught as is outside of Snowpoint.  It was a haunting presence in the Lake Acuity area.  Jadis is apathetic and cold, though she shows a respect for Sem and his Pokémon.  Strangely enough she is trained to sword fight.

History/Personality: The Aquaises acquired Isis from Fabio when she was still a Porygon2, an acquaintance of the family.  Isis was used to combat SIR, and she evolved in the process.  Instead of going mad like SIR upon his evolution, Isis is disabled by glitches and freezes, and her voice warps, but otherwise retains her personality.

I'll post the one I did for the elite 4 thing here.

Name: Kira Arderve (Pronounced Ardoore)
Gender: Female
Hometown: Shota Island, Darco Region
Age: 20
Height: 5'8

Hair: Pink, braided pontail.

Eyes: Sky Blue

Clothing: High heeled tie-up boots, white stockings, short black skirt, lace yellow tank top, sometimes wears a trench coat, black elbow gloves. Pokeball earrings.

Identifying Marks: Tattoo of a chibified Keel on her shoulder, covers with makeup.

Musculature: Normal build, curves

Personality: Mysterious. She seems rather distant, but Knows the difference between right and wrong. She may seem curt with some, but loves children, and goes absolutely gaga over Keel when she sees him on TV or in real life, then shows him the tat, but also blushes when she hears his name.

Skills: Stealth, Almost the same things as Keel, Smart, High I.Q., able too solve codes and Puzzles, and also a Battling genious, just what you'd expect from a previous 3rd Elite four member.

Past: She grew up in the Darco region, which is a chain of islands, on a small island called Shota. She grew up with several exotic pokemon, ranging from odd colored Butterfree to the dog Pokemon her family loved. She grew up there with a friend named Luther, who left the island at the age of 11. She eventually grew up to become the 3rd member of the Darco region Elite 4, but left because of the corruption in the world (Also to persue Keel, who had stood in for the 4th member while he was on Vaction.). She eventually found an odd egg, but keeps it in her left Pokeball earring. She's assisted in the demise of Team Phio in the Darco region, and also single handedly defeated a horde of Dragon pokemon. During her travels, she actually met up with Diego, who she only battled so she could find out where Keel was, and lost. When she finally found Keel, She went absolutely nuts and never wanted to leave his side, but he managed to ditch her, but not Yori. She and Yori do not get along. She is constantly chasing this man in hopes of becoming "soul mates".

Family: A mother and father, plus little cousin Derick.

Love Relationships?: Keel. She is nuts about him. She blushes at the mere mention of his name, and loves to hug and kiss him on the cheek whenever she can. However, it could also be said that she likes Luther as well, but is too shy to admit it.

Pokémon:

Lucario: Lucario was the first Pokemon Kira ever received, but she doesn't use use him much though because he's too strong. Lucario is very serious about his work, because he vows to defeat his brother, Luther's Lucario. He meditates on a regular basis since his evolution, and mostly fights with his eyes closed. He sometimes has too whip his comrades into order, for he sees himself as their boss. He also seems attached to Kira's egg, seeing himself as the newborn's teacher when it hatches.

Spiritomb: Spiritomb was once a bad pokemon, but changed his ways when he was defeated by Kira's fist after trying to eat her lunch. He has a fear of getting Kira mad because of this, and will try doing goofy things to keep her from flaring up. He is well behaved because of this fear. He would gladly give one of his lives for her if the time came, afterall, he is made of 108 souls.

Dragonite (shiny): Kira saved the tike when it was a Dratini from a raging Salamence in the Dragon's Den in Johto. He gladly serves by her side when she calls him into battle and is a major powerhouse in her team. He is very attached to Kira, and is constantly escaping from his ball to protect her when he thinks she's in danger. He has declared war with Keel's Tyranitar for being the 1st pokemon of the man constantly avoiding Kira. He also loves belly rubs.

Camerupt: He is kinda slow, and definately lazy, but he is very sturdy in battle, being able to take moves like giga impact and not budge. He loves to eat, and thus has been called a Snorlax equivilant. He is also a powerhouse, but Kira doesn't use him as much because he sometimes causes tremors when he takes a step.

Lanturn: He is Kira's main attacker when she battles in water, but also is good for fighting in one spot. He also takes advantge of his lure, and plays pranks on swimming pokemon. He is a weird one, as he is distracted by bright colors, and has been known to bite off bathing suits. Although he is a trouble maker, he is still near and dear to Kira as her 1st capture.

1 Egg: Kira found an odd black egg with red stripes on it one day while treking through a dark forest. She hasn't the slightest clue as to what it could be, but Lucario seems interested, and has been gaurding it since Kira found it. Lucario seems to be able to sense its heartbeat, so it may hatch sooner or later.

The jacket has a small picture of each of Kanto's Gym Badges on it(three on the front, one on each sleeve, and three in the back, going in order with the Boulder Badge starting on the right sleeve). Wears dark gray jeans adn dark blue tennis shoes.

Musculature: Very slim, giving the appearance that he rarely, if ever, does a good amount of physical work...which would be right :3
Personality: Raphael is very lazy, and usually makes his Pokemon do the heavy-duty work on his travels(like clearing a path or investigating something. He CAN set up a tent and a campfire, though). Ironically, the only time he spends working is either training or battling. Raphael's actually a sociable person, never saying a mean word to or about anybody, and knows a thing or two about training, his favorite strategy being "attacking the enemy's strengths". He obtained all of Kanto's Gym Badges, but has no desire to challenge the Elite Four.
Skills: Battles using the unorthodox
Past: Raphael was born in Fuschia City, and was surrounded by a love for Poison-types. This in turn led him to get a Poison-type for a starter instead of the traditional Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Strangely, he didn't want to start at the age of ten, and instead decided to wait until he was fourteen, when he finally decided to get a Poison-type as his starter, choosing a male Nidoran that he wanted to catch in the Safari Zone.  After obtaining three badges, he came back to Fuschia in order to get more pokemon from the Safari Zone, nabbing a Rhyhorn, Scyther, Tauros, and Exeggcute, to name a few. Right before his seventh badge, he caught a Growlithe, which he used to his utmost advantage via his "special strategy" mentioned earlier. Now, after beating Kanto(mostly), he awaits to travel to new lands....

History/Personality: Thanatos was caught as a Nidoran inside the Safari Zone. He has a very dark manner, and prefers to ignore most rules of battle, only stopping when he feels that the opponent is down. Thanatos greatly dislikes Balor, whom he views as trying to be better than him.

Special Features: large, even for a Rhydon
History/Personality: Balor was caught by Raphael when he first came back to Fuschia, and was also the first pokemon to have been caught in this visit. Balor faced off against Giovanni's Rhydon with ease, using his superior size to overwhelm the pokemon. Balor's size frightens most pokemon, with him being much bigger than most Rhydon they've faced, but this size does not diminish his speed, which is equal to regular Rhydon. Balor's "signature move" is having a death glare at the opponent to freeze them in their tracks, so to speak, before moving in.

History/Personality: Ixion was caught almost immediately before Raphael's Cinnabar Gym Battle, due to Raphael having learned that Blaine favored Fire-types. He recently evolved, and has had a very cocky attitude since.

Nickname: Vimana
Gender: Female
Ability: Technician
Hidden Power: none
Special Features: flies around a lot
History/Personality: Vimana was caught right after Balor, but Raphael had to trick it into flying into a tree, which caused it to collapse in sudden surprise/pain. Vimana ALWAYS moves by flying around, her legs only getting use from her standing on them after she tires of flying. She has a very calm demeanor outside of battle, but rivals Ixion in confidence once the opponent is in her sights.
