I suppose I should write these down...
Name: Samuel Vekkner
Gender: male
Hometown: Pewter City, Kanto
Age: 17
Height: Five feet, eleven inches (5'11")
Weight: One-hundred thirty-nine pounds (139lbs)
Hair: Black
Eyes: Right: Hazel; Left: Gray.
Clothing: Sam wears a black t-shirt under a pinstriped dress shirt, which is worn open. He also wears a pair of baggy black jeans, and gray sneakers. Alternatively, he switches out the shirts for a red t-shirt and a tan jacket, keeping on the pants and shoes.
Identifying Marks: Four parallel scars running near horizontally across his side.
Musculature: Thin.
Personality: For the most part, Sam is cool, calm, and collected. He's a bit of a control freak, however. Because of the way he acts, he has few friends beyond his Pokemon. Yet, he treats each and every one of them with the same loving care, which is a bit astounding for one who so easily blows a fuse around other humans.
Skills: Because he spends most of his time on he road, Sam has developed an amateur cooking ability. He is very proficient in the creation of PokeBlocks, commonly devoting a few hours of his off time a week to creating a batch. Thanks to his dip into crime, he is an expert with a knife, and has some lock picking skills.
Past: Sam lived a sheltered life, never really leaving his home town of Pewter City. Like most kids his age, the call of the Pokemon Trainer was great, and the then thirteen year old could help but set out on his own journey one night, leaving only a note for his parents. He made it only to Mt. Moon before it was deemed to dangerous to travel along any further on his own. Luckily, a few Trainers were kind enough to escort him through the mountain pass. Parting ways with the Trainers in Cerulean City, the wanna-be Trainer quickly began his own attempts at catching a Pokemon.
Things started out bad, and then took a turn for the worse. Having wasted nearly all his cash on Pokeballs which he then failed to catch a Pokemon with, the boy had no choice but to resort to thievery to get by. Despite his bad luck, he refused to return home, remaining in Cerulean City. It was here a mysterious man by the name of Isaac North found him. The odd man was a scientist of some sort, and had brought along a Pokemon in need of a Trainer. This Pokemon was a Buizel by the name of Seth.
Having no other choice, Sam accepted the man's proposal. Dr. North gave him Seth, in return, the young Trainer would do as the man asked him to. Isaac took him to Hoenn, leaving him in the care of a colleague of his, Dr. James Kirk. It was Dr. Kirk who brought him into Team Magma. At first, the Crime Syndicate was adverse to accepting the then fourteen year old Trainer into their organization. After some gentle convincing from Dr. North, they grudgingly accepted, and by the time he was 15, Samuel was off on his first mission.
This mission involved the theft of top secret documents from the lab of one Professor Elm. Being the ditsiest of the Professors, he would be the easiest to take the documents from, before they fell into the hands of the likes of Oak or Rowan. As expected, the mission went off without a hitch, Sam also managing to nab a Cyndaquil, which he named Flynt, from the Lab. This would be the first of many successful missions that would eventually warm Team Magma to him.
However, one of his missions didn't go as well as planed. The Trainer was to steal more priceless goods from a well off gentleman. The goods had been stolen, and Sam was in the middle of his escape, when he was spotted by one of the guard dogs. By then, he had managed to acquire a Riolu with a crimson colored fur replacing the normal blue, named Jake. It was protecting Jake from the jaws of the larger guard Arcanine that gave Samuel the four scars running across his side. Enraged, Jake evolved, and destroyed the Pokemon, before escaping with his wounded Trainer.
Now seventeen years old, and holding a bit of a standing among the other Grunts, Sam has expanded his team, having seven Pokemon in all, with six with him at all times. He is commonly referred to as a "Commander", a Grunt that can give other Grunts orders for the Admins. Samuel is the youngest and newest of the Commanders, and is still working to prove himself to Team Magma, starting with keeping his impressive success rate in tact.
Family: Mother and Father still living in Pewter City, which Sam avoids to this day.

- Species: Buizel
- Gender: Male
- Personality: A generally happy-go-lucky, good natured, and kind Buizel. Seth acts as Samuel's motivation. Highly curious of human objects, the Buizel especially loves Manga, though no one is sure it is the pictures that entertain him, or if he is actually able to read the words. Actively worries for his Trainer's safety in times of conflict, and is extremely loyal to Sam. On the occasion that their trainer is incapacitated, Seth is the one to take charge of his teammates. There may be more to this Pokemon then meets the eye.
- Flynt
- Species: Quilava
- Gender: Male
- Personality: A far more serious and quiet counterpart to Seth, Flynt none the less is still generally pleasant. By far the most serious of the seven, and loyal to the end. Flynt acts as Seth's right hand when the Buizel runs the show, and tries to act as a father figure to the younger Pokemon in the team.
- Jacob (Jake)
- Species: Lucario (With crimson fur replacing his species's normal blue.)
- Gender: Male
- Personality: Though he pretends to be a stoic, Jake loves attention. While he used to be a shy Pokemon, prone to fleeing when strangers came to touch his oddly color fur, he has since gotten used to it. Does his best to keep Andre and Wes in check, but commonly fails to accomplish anything with the two. He has also been very protective of his master since the incident with the Arcanine.
- Vincent (Vince)
- Species: Flygon
- Gender: Male
- Personality: The team ditz. Vincent is very laid back, happy-go-lucky, and prone to accidents. However, he is a fierce Pokemon on the battlefield, especially when paired with Jake. Has a bit of a rivalry with Toby the Sandshrew, though he seems to think the terms are a lot more friendly then they are.
- Dylan [Boxed]
- Species: Dewott
- Gender: Male
- Personality: Always one to hold a grudge, Dylan, much like Jake, has been owned by Sam since he was an egg. Because of this, he trusts and gets along with the Trainer and his Pokemon the best out of most of the others, and is always ready to lend a helping hand. However, he has his own kind of tranquil fury, and if he is wronged, he will not rest until he has gotten his revenge.
- Toby [Boxed]
- Species: Sandshrew
- Gender: Male
- Personality: A cold Pokemon, who cares for little beyond following the orders given to him. He is commonly the one left out of the team, only occasionally replacing Vincent in times of need. Because of his, he is very competitive with the Flygon, and goes out of his way to try and prove he is better.
- Theo [Boxed]
- Species: Hypno
- Gender: Male
- Personality: An odd Pokemon, captured by Sam during a long, nightmare inducing battle as a Drowzee. Theo has little understanding of personal space, and is almost always leering over someone's shoulder when he escapes the confines of his Pokeball. He is protective of his trainer close to the point of possessiveness, and has had issues with misinterpretation in the past, going at people on occasion that it deems a threat to its trainer. Because of this, he normally stays off the team, coming in only when some real firepower is needed.
- Andre
- Species: Linoone
- Gender: Male
- Personality: By far the most outgoing of them, Andre is eager to please, and will do anything Samuel asks of him. He acts as a big brother of sorts to Wesley, the Furret proving to be one of the Pokemon the Linoone would protect with his life. He enjoys playing with his teammates, but commonly only manages to get Flynt or Jake mad at him.
- Daniel (Dan) [Boxed]
- Species: Beheeyem
- Gender: Male
- Personality: A cold, analytical Pokemon, Daniel is an intellect at heart, and usually the most rational of the group. Almost always garbling something in an odd language that not even his fellow Pokemon can understand, Daniel easily puts the others on edge. No one trusts him, and he doesn't trust anyone in return, treating his capturing by Sam as a minor setback that could lead to an interesting business deal, rather then a partnership between him and the rest of the team.
- Wesley (Wes)
- Species: Furret
- Gender: Male
- Personality: The newest member to the team, Wesley has apparently inherited Jake's shyness. Despite this, he does what is ordered of him, and appears to have a brotherly bond with Andre.

This dude's another character I'll use when Ben isn't suitable. He also may/may not be a part of something that's coming up soon, depends on how good my writing gets. EDIT: Never mind, that thing isn't coming up, and I am happy to call him my OC.

Gender: Male
Hometown: Mauville City
Age: 12
Height: 1.65
Weight: 43
Hair: Dark Brown
Eyes: Emerald Green
Clothing: Black T-shirt and dark blue shorts. This varies depending on what region he's in.
Identifying Marks: Has a Sableye around him for most of the time.
Musculature: average, not muscled.
Personality: Kind, and loves a good battle.
Skills: Can make friends easily.
Past: Veran had lived in Mauville his whole life, only ever leaving with his father. when he turned twelve they allowed him to leave to start his pokemon Journey, the only reason he stayed behind is because he didn't feel like doing it. He didn't get the usual starter, instead his dad took him to the place where he got his first pokemon, Granite Cave, and asked him to catch the first wild pokemon he saw, using his Kadabra. He had no luck until he felt a cold hand on his shoulder. He turned to see two glittering gems and a wickedly pointed grin staring at him. He laughed and saw a purple head solidify, and the eyes seemed to ask to join him. So he held up a pokeball, and Sableye was caught. His parents are planning to move to a far off region, but don't want to take him with them, and so are going to send him to a Sinnoh Boarding School at the end of the year. *CoughSpoilersCough*

Special Features: Has Emeralds for eyes and A Sapphire on his chest, for that was his main diet when he was born.
History: Sable was caught in Granite Cave, and has been Traveling with Veran ever since. He is usually perched on Veran's shoulder, but loves scampering around and when he wants to be hidden, he hides in Veran's Shadow, a trick he learned from a Gengar. He is only noticeable in the shadows by what seems to be patches of light in the shape of his eyes and mouth, where Veran's would be, if it weren't a shadow.
Personality: Trickster. He loves pulling pranks, and will sneak up on anybody who he thinks it would be fun to sneak up on. If hit in battle, it is met with a grin, a cock of the head and a quick scuttle to where he originally was.

Ability: Water Absorb
History: Ruto was given to Veran by a ranch owner. He was giving away newly hatched pokemon babys and Veran got an Eevee. He was originally planning to evolve her into an Umbreon, but when they visited the seaside and caught one of their old team members, Ruto found a water stone, touched it and instantly became Vaporeon. She helped in the battle, and the new member was added to the team.
Personality: Ruto has a kind personality, and loves helping the other team members. She likes battling and is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her attacks.
Gender: Male
Ability: Levitate
History: Gohdan was caught in Sinnoh, on a small venture into the Old Chateu by Veran. He came out of a wall as a Ghastly and bumped into Veran. After a quick battle he was caught. He evolved soon after.
Personality: Gohdan loves putting people to the test, and did not evolve into a Gengar because he refused to be traded.
Gender: Male
Ability: Shed Skin
Special Features: Skin is a red colour.
History: Volvagia was given as an egg to Veran in Johto, which hatched soon after. He quickly grew close to Veran, and when he evolved, he refused to evolve along with Gohdan.
Personality: Volvagia has a fiery temper and will protect Veran and his other pokemon at all costs.
Gender: Male
Ability: Insomnia
Special Features: Wears a mask over his beak and face because of an ugly scar.
History: Helmaroc was caught as a Honchcrow in Johto. When Helmaroc was a Murkrow, Some houndour attacked him. Veran rescued Helmaroc with Ruto, but not before the Houndour gave him an ugly scar. He was rushed to the pokemon centre, but the scar was too far gone to heal. Once Helmaroc was allowed to leave the centre, he was met by Veran and Sable, who gave him a black mask to wear. He accepted it, and left. Some months later, they came back, and saw a Honchcrow with an ornate Black mask, and realized it was the same Murkrow they helped. The Honchcrow realized it to, and asked if he could join them. They agreed, and Helmaroc was added to the team.
Personality: Helmaroc has respect for Veran, and loves Gohma.
Gender: Female
Ability: Insomnia
History: Gohma was another egg when given to Veran, and when she hatched she took an immediate dislike to Veran and the rest of his team, with the exception of Helmaroc, who she developed a passion for. She stayed with Helmaroc and Veran, and evolved later.
Personality: Gohma doesn't like Veran or his team, but loves Helmaroc.

Identifying Marks: Her dusky white hair, which is dyed instead of natural, aswell as the similar hairstyle to Jasmine's
Musculature: Ectomorph; skinny and not very muscular.
Personality: Very quiet and usually not very responsive, Neon usually prefers to travel alone, and rather allow trainers to challenge her than to challenge them. Neon is very praising and protective of her pokemon, as she accepts them as her family. When in battle, she hesistates to show overconfidence and can grow easily annoyed by an opponent's cockiness.
Skills: Neon shares an aura connection with Kody, her beloved Riolu, and can speak almost telepathically with him.
Past: As a young infant, Neon was orphaned and sent to an adoption orphanage, where she would soon adopted by a young couple, the husband being a jeweler. When his daughter was eight years of age, Neon's adoptive father entrusted her with the responsibility of raising a pokemon, a young sableye. At ten years of age, she could officially begin her journey as a pokemon trainer and thus began training her beloved sableye. After a long year of training, and a few new additions of pokemon, Neon took on the Indigo League, and ended up being successful.
Having taken on several leagues, she now resumes and a wanderer and a pokemon breeder, training her pokemon with uttermost confidence.

A stubborn and powerful female, she is the eldest of Neon's team. Greed was given her name from her love of gems, often collecting them rather than eating them like the usual diet. But instead of not eating her most precious, she consumes them to protect them and eventually grow the materials within her body; thus resulting in several gems around her arms, legs and back. Greed is well attributed by her love of her most prized possession, a blue diamond, which she keeps with her at all times. At time of seperation, she would immediately attack those who would hold her item captive. Despite this, a secret bond between her and her master would show as stronger than any stone.

Ability: Chlorophyll
Phyll was given to Neon as a Chikorita, and was deemed her "true" first pokemon as being recieved during her journey. Playful and caring, he often parents Kody and acts as an adoptive father, usually protecting him and staying in close distance to the Riolu, and would grow increasingly unconfortable if the two were seperated in a negative act. Phyll stands as a slight counterpart with Greed; sometimes getting into arguments when the sableye refuses to help others over her diamond.

Ardere is Neon's second most powerful pokemon, and was recieved through trade as a Combusken. At first, the fire-type refused to take part in battles and often disobeyed orders, even sometimes running away. But as months passed, their time together and with Neon's other pokemon proved to take it's toll on Ardere's cold heart, and when evolving, proved as a powerful member of the team. She can deliver swift blaze kicks at an amazing speed, and is often used in battle.

Ability: Immunity
Envy shares a partnership with Greed, and the sableye's right-hand assistant. Born to a famous band of ruthless Zangoose, Envy's biological father was the group leader, and often would steal foods, gems, and other goods. Envy eventually left this band, feeling unsafe with stealing human goods, and decided to test her power alone. This led to a great battle with a Steelix, which almost led to Envy's demise and eventually being rescued by Neon. After being healed, Envy had felt excepted by this team, although she had not fully adjusted to the new surrondings and being in captivity of a trainer. Despite her short claws, Envy carries the trait of her father, an ear shorter than the other, and a great, brute strength. She is the most powerful of Neon's team. SHe also wheres an orange bandana around her neck.

Nickname: Wabble
Gender: Male
Ability: Water Absorb
Wabble is the most hyperactive of the team, in contrast to a Quagsire's lazy and unattentive nature. Caught as a Wooper while Neon was still collecting the Johto badges, Wabble gained a slight crush on Greed, trying to impress her with small clots of mud and leaves that he would find, but would usually fail. After evolution, Wabble grew out of this love for the sableye, and became oblivious to love. He isn't exactly the brightest, as he does often bump into rocks when dashing around without paying attention.

Gender: Male
Ability: Steadfast
The youngest of the team, Kody hatched from an egg, and saw Neon as his mother. He clings to his trainer loyally and lovingly; they share powerful bond through aura, usually growing anxious when seperated. With this bond, he can share his feelings with Neon telepathically. Strangely enough, Kody fears evolution, yet, no one really understands exactly why his fear is so strong. But as he requested, Neon gave him an everstone, which he wears around the yellow color of his neck. Kody is not very outgoing, and usually were to whine if found by strangers.

Having come back to 'Charms, I thought it was appropriate to re-post my new-and-improved character bio, considering my old account met a rather mysterious demise....

Identifying Marks: He has a goatee.
Musculature: Normal
Personality: Normally frisky and hyperactive, but he's quick to get serious in a grim situation.
Skills: Knows a bit about pokemon physiology, He's also bears psychic skills, he acts like an empath to pokemon and his emotions can also cause his slight telekenisis to move(more like rattle) small objects.
Past: Frank started his adventure in Goldenrod City when he was 11, shortly after team Rocket killed his father. His first pokemon was an eevee, which he nicknamed Tak and later renamed Flame when it evolved into Flareon. He also met the other members of his team through his 3 year Journey through the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions. Frank has lost every region confrence he's attended, but he still isn't giving up, he's currently on his way to the Isshu region to obtain the eight badges, best the elite four and challenge the Champion at the next Isshu conference. History/Personality: Flame is very lovable, he's always got his teammates and his trainer's back, he loves the fight. Frank obtained Flame as an eevee and Originally nicknamed him Tak, later on after he evovled into Flareon, Frank thought that Flame would be more appropriate.

Fury Challenged Flame and lost, being secured in one of Frank’s pokeballs soon after. He evolved into Charmeleon while battling Lance in the Pokemon League, and losing... And again, into Charizard when Frank battled Brock in Pewter City.

Special Features: One wing has tears in it from a deadly battle with a Staraptor.
History/Personality: Crusoe was obtained as a Dragonair. Frank came across Crusoe unconscious in the middle of the path on the way to Cerulean City, Frank, with the help of Beast and Fury carried him to the pokemon center to have him healed, it turns out that Crusoe had been fighting with another Pokemon and was unvictorious. It evolved into Dragonite in the Viridian Gym during the battle with Blue.

Special Features: His Flaming crown turns blue when Blaze activates in battle, just like Fury's tail flame does.
History/Personality: When Frank first came to Sinnoh, he came upon a Chimchar that wanted some food. Frank, being such a nice guy, gave him some food and moved on. However that Chimchar followed him all the way to Jubilife City, where Frank finally asked him, “Would you like to come with me?” Chimchar nodded and Frank secured him in the pokeball, nicknaming him SolarFlare. SolarFlare became Monferno while battling Roark and then evolved again into Infernape when battling Crasher Wake.

Hair: Blonde, with caramel strands, and occasionaly red strands too- She paints it from time to time.
Eyes: A light blueish-grey.
Clothing: Skinny jeans, normally ladies' sandals but when it's too cold for them sneakers, and she likes long white T-shirts with a random jacket over them, different from day to day.
Identifying Marks: She loves to wear loads of jewelry such as earrings and necklaces. Born from a rich family, she is almost never outbudgetted by the price of jewelry and wears something else almost every day, mixing the ones she has.
Musculature: She seems skinny, but is quite muscled for a girl her age.
Personality: She is quite the 'little Miss Sunshine', always being overly happy, sometimes up to the point where it annoys others. But once she gets ticked off, she can rant and rage like a Primeape. She loves to laugh, searching for oppurtinities to have fun constantly. When there's no one around she knows, she shows a softer side; She loves calm reading, but is afraid that others will find her a boring person so doesn't show it.
Skills: Her brother taught her martial arts in her youth, and finding that she liked it, she trained on. This makes her quite agile and good at fighting. She is a clever, although not very good at languages.
Past: Born from rich parents in Crown City, she grew up without much to worry about. She spent a lot of time with her brother Adam, seeing as both her parents weren't around a lot because of bussiness issues. She enrolled into Rocoso High because it seemed like the best place for
PokeMon battles, which she likes to do, and enough things to spend free time.
Family: Mother Brianna, Father Richard and brother Adam.
Love Relationships?: None so far.

-Sienna (Infernape)
A fiesty and hyperactive female Infernape. Sienna was given to her as a Chimchar by Prof. Rowan as her starter. Very much like Alexis, she is very fun-loving and happy. She's a bit klutzy, and is therefore rarely left out of her PokeBall inside a building with breakable things. She has a random love for messing around with people and dressing up in ridiculous outfits. There are rumours around Rocoso that even in battle, this lovely monkey will keep laughing unless she is knocked out by an enemy.
-Lorelei (Milotic)
Given to her as a present from her parents when she started her PokeMon journey, Lorelei was originally a very nervous female Feebas, but Alexis trained her for months, resulting into evolution into a beautiful Milotic. Lorelei is quiet and shy, but will spring into battle whenever she is needed. She tends to attack from a distance and has defensive methodes. Lorelei loves drifting around at the surface of a body of water, enjoying the sunlight.
-Wyatt (Metang)
As a newly hatched Beldum, a friend of Alexis' traded him over from Hoenn to Alexis for her Shieldon. The male Steel-type took an instant liking to her, always levitating around her. He dislikes PokeBalls, choosing to remain free most of the time. Over time, he evolved into the Metang he is now.
-Zoey (Altaria)
A laid-back PokeMon, the female bird is always very relaxed and loves to snooze. But she also has a friendly and caring personality, which makes her easier to trick. She isn't dim-witted though, and proves a quick and agile combatant. Alexis uses her for flying.
-Eli (Drifloon)
Eli was caught near Floarama Town. The male balloon Eli often has self esteem problems, thinking lowly of himself whenever he fail at something. He loves getting caressed by Alexis, who loves to do so. He is currently in training to become a Drifblim, which Alexis believes will have a positive effect on him.

Identifying Marks: Always has a mischievous look on his face that either says "I'm having a great time!!" or "I got a great plan." Also loves hoodies.
Musculature: Doesn't have a lot of muscle nor a lot of fat, generally skinny.
Personality: Jumpy. This kid is always doing something crazier than the last. He never seems to sit down and always is adventurous. He always seems to take bad situations the wrong way and just acts like their a game.
Skills: He's awesome at parkour which makes him half ninja and looking awesome when running from trouble.
Past: His father was the Champion of the Sinnoh League, until one day he disappeared suddenly, with all his Pokemon, too. The only one who survived the disapperance is RK the Rankurusu who doesn't remember anything that happened before a strange man challenged him...
RK has become sort of Brendan's older brother, and would take care of the house and help Brendan's mom. Although RK didn't want to adventure with him because his mom didn't want the last link to his father gone again. He than set out oon his adventure neglecting his mother's plea to stay home.
Family: As told before, he has a father that disappeared, he has a mother, too and he is an only child.
Love Relationships?: There is a girl named Josselyn that was his childhood friend and they started their adventures together. But they had to split up due to the fact that she felt neglected because Brendan liked his Pokemon more than her. He hasn't seen her since.

Brendan's one Pokemon is Oliver, the Cherrim. He is not a fun loving guy. He used to be, when he was a young Cherubi, but when he evolved he sort of, matured. He is still funny, but in the wise cracking kind of way, He's been with Brendan since he was born, and they will be friends forever! Oliver can do something a little special, when he uses solarbeam, he does sort of a Hadouken sort of thing, which focuses all his energy into his attack which makes him stronger, so he is pretty beast. Another thing is that he has a little scar right under his eye, he got it from battling Roark and getting this from a stealth rock to the face!

Brendan's one Pokemon is Oliver, the Cherrim. He is not a fun loving guy. He used to be, when he was a young Cherubi, but when he evolved he sort of, matured. He is still funny, but in the wise cracking kind of way, He's been with Brendan since he was born, and they will be friends forever! Oliver can do something a little special, when he uses solarbeam, he does sort of a Hadouken sort of thing, which focuses all his energy into his attack which makes him stronger, so he is pretty beast. Another thing is that he has a little scar right under his eye, he got it from battling Roark and getting this from a stealth rock to the face!

When James was 7, he moved to Snowpoint with his family and went fishing with his dad at lake acuity, they were attacked by a Gyarados, the pokemon killed his dad and was preparing to attack James, but a dark shape flitted down from the skys and attacked the Gyarados. The pokemon had a red collar, a black cloak like body, and a white "plume" on its head. 3 years later, James found out this Pokemon was called Darkrai, and it became his favourite. He set out on a quest a few days later to find Darkrai and thank it for saving him that day. He is still searching. He decided to go to Canalave to buy a boat, and now takes regular trips around newmoon island, but has yet to meet Darkrai.

Personality: Riley is a fairly confident person. He likes to have battles, and thinks they're fun. As a result, he often gets overexcited and loses track of the battle. Watching from the window, his mother realized this would be a great step to him leaving the town one day, and so she searched the house for the Pokeball and eventually found one. She gave it to her son, and taught him how to catch it. Weston didn't mind, he wasn't planning on doing much that day anyway.

Riley hadn't seen a sport outside of the TV before, so he decided to go and watch. At one point, however, a baseball was knocked straight into the Emolga's face, and it fell out of the sky. Not wanting it to get hurt, Riley reacted on his primary instincts to save others and threw whatever ball he could grab at the Pokemon so it wouldn't be further damaged. The Quick Ball did its job, and although Makoto doesn't enjoy being a captured Pokemon, she'll live with it. On the bright side, Riley got tickets to the next game.

Appearance: Nicholas stands at 6’11” and weighs around 160 lbs. He has short, messy, blonde hair which contrasts with his dark eyebrows and eyes. Nicholas has always been somewhat self conscious of his neck because he thinks it’s too long and veiny. Nicholas has a thing for brown corduroy pants and striped shirts. Since he often finds himself in cold temperatures, he always has warm clothes handy. He wears contacts but will sometimes wear glasses when he’s feeling lazy.
Background: Nicholas grew up in Driftveil City with his mother. His parents divorced when Nicholas was 13, though they’d had some obvious marital problems for a few years beforehand. His father moved off to a different town and remarried but his mother is still single. When he turned 16 Nick got a job working in the cold storage and loved it. Though he was the youngest there, he picked up the work quickly and made good friends. Since it was encouraged to have a Pokémon or two to help with some of the labor, Nick caught a Karrablast outside the city. Though he enjoyed the feeling of capturing a Pokémon, he was content enough with his life that he never considered leaving on a Pokémon journey.
When one of his coworkers had to make a delivery to Mistralton City, Nicholas tagged along figuring it’d be a good experience for him. Though he had a job to do, he couldn’t help but explore the area and fell in love with some of the Pokémon he found there. Nicholas has tried to get through more to Votive but is happy with the relationship they share and doesn’t mind not being best friends.

Past: Grew up and spent most of his life in and around Vermilion, he spent most of this time out on the docks, watching the ferries come and go, up till nightfall, in which he would go back home and take glances at his father's journals and findings, and any water-type books the scientist may have brought home with him after an expedition. Though this took up most of his life, there was one occasion where he took a trip across the entire Kanto region to take his hand at training. This, however, would end up becoming a journey he'd rather forget. With only three Pokemon, all of the same type, Alan found his loss count rising much higher than his win count. Coming away from his adventure with exactly zero gym badges, unevolved Pokemon, and the realization he was definitely missing something that the more successful trainers had, he decided to just stick with his old routine for a little while longer until a better opportunity came to him. Musculature: Skinny, been backpacking around the world since he was 18
Personality: Kind of quiet and arrogant. Is well aware of his abilities. Still, is loyal to his friends and family.
Skills: Very knowledgeable about history and literature. Very aggressive in Pokemon battles, mostly offence.
Past: Was born in Icirrus City to an engineer and a Pokemon coordinator. His father, the engineer, insisted he complete his primary education before going on any sort of Pokemon journey. His mother, when he was little, brought back a young baby Nidoran from the Kanto region for him as a pet, which Stephen named Saul. Saul evolved into a Nidorino after Stephen started battling his friends in high school. After high school he left to go on a Pokemon journey, evolving Saul into a Nidoking at the onset. His father hoped he would continue his education, but came to terms with the fact that Stephen had completed his end of the deal and stayed through high school.
Though he planned on competing against Gym Leaders, he initially wanted to use the journey as an excuse to travel Unova, with competing in the Pokemon League a secondary objective. After some training, however, Stephen decided to give the league a shot, and in three years he had won eight badges needed to compete in the Unova league.
During the Unova tournament he made it to the final 16 before being knocked out, though the tournament convinced his father that he had made the right decision, reconciling the two. After the Unova Tournament he wandered around the other regions of the world for a few years, travelling and training. He's now returned to Icirrus City, having just returned from the Sinnoh region.
Family: Mother, father, younger sister (22), and an uncle living in Viridian City in Kanto.

He gets annoyed at Sparky, Stephen's Typhlosion, who has always had a bad habit of trying to nibble his tail.

Nickname: Erin

Ability: Torrent
History/Personality, etc: Caught as an Oshawott. Stephen wasn't interested in getting one of the Unova starters from Professor Juniper, he had Saul. He came across Oshawott shortly after leaving Icirrus City, however. Stephen was shocked to see one in the wild, and decided to observe it for a few days. Soon he realized that this little Pokemon was alone, and decided to capture it. Saul had no problem subduing the small Pokemon, which was caught. Initially stubborn, Erin grew to trust both Stephen and Saul.

Nickname: Hammond

Ability: Defeatist
History/Personality, etc: Stephen received an Archen during his trek around Unova. He stumbled across a fossil in the desert the envelopes Route 4. He headed to Nacrene City after he heard about their fossil restoration project. Hammond is a complex creature. A very proud Pokemon, his defeatist ability leads to him feeling down when things aren't going smoothly. Hammond is one of the two Pokemon of Stephen's that travels the most outside of his Poke Ball.

Ability: Levitate
History/Personality, etc: Echinda was the last of the Pokemon Stephen caught before he competed in the Unova League, though she didn't evolve into her final form until afterwards. Quick tempered and rash, it took a while for Echinda to be excepted by the rest of Stephen's Pokemon, but Stephen never gave up on her. When she was a young Deino Stephen would often guide her as she walked so she wouldn't have to bump around to get a feel for her surroundings. Stephen's taught her to channel her quick temper into power in battle.

Nickname: Sparky
Gender: Male
Ability: Blaze
History/Personality, etc: Caught as a Cyndaquil after Stephen's showing in the Unova League Tournament, when he set out for Johto. Going there to relax and perhaps get more in touch with his spiritual side, Stephen instead stumbled upon a very eager and competitive Pokemon in Sparky. Like Hammond, Sparky spends the most time travelling with Stephen outside of his Poke Ball.

Ability: Overgrow
History/Personality, etc: Another of Stephen's Pokemon with great endurance. Kenix is the most recent Pokemon on Stephen's team, having evolved from a Grotle just before Stephen returned from Sinnoh. Kenix is a very headstrong Pokemon, often insisting on charging into battle despite his lumbering size and less then stellar speed.
