More Pokémon Black & White 2 Details Leak

Today has marked an exciting day for Pokémon fans as a few lucky gamers in Japan have received their copies of Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 ahead of their official release on the 23rd. Because of this a number of interesting details to do with the two games have been given during the coverage of the gameplay. I won't cover every little thing, just more major details, but for those who don't want any spoilers at all please don't read past this point. For those that do want to know more, read on!

Very, very satisfied by that news ^^ Of course, the thing I'm happiest about would the tutors. The only thing we didn't get was Stealth Rock (not surprising honestly), but we got the punches, Dark Pulse, and Earth Power along with other very nice moves.

Also Iris as champion? Ick, can we get a champion who isn't a dragon specialist. I know we've only had Lance, but still. I would've preferred...any other type honestly. But at least she'll be better than Alder.

Hmmm...very interesting. I'm glad about the punches, but confused about how Kyerum and Zekrom/Reshiram fuse. What is this special item, and what happens to the special attacks?

I'm also psyched about N giving away Pokemon, although I'm not that excited about the champion being IRIS.

There's lots of good stuff in that news round up, but I'm wondering if Gamefreak has given us the WiFi feature we've wanted most: Level 50/100 All. News may still be rolling in but I'm becoming doubtful that such will be making a return.

Regardless of the WiFi stuff, I'm glad that I'll finally be able to stop worrying about transferring Pokemon from Gen IV to Gen V due to the Move Tutor attacks. It's also great having Giga Drain, Drain Punch, and Dragon Pulse readily available again.

But most of all, I'm really forward to taking advantage of Challenge Mode (even if it is only post-game).

I'm happy we've received this news and there is definite nods towards Gen 3 remakes and like the others have said I'm glad for the move tutors as it gives some Pokemon a bit more variety namely Unovian and Dream World Pokemon. I kinda like the names minus the male protag as it seems really off compared the other two maybe because of the length of the name I dunno.

Also Dem might wanna but a 'n' in Gunk Shot ^^ Also hope you don't mind what I put in the spoiler (not sure if you were putting it in future news)

Also we are being treated to 2 end game Hydreigon's Iris' and Ghetsis'. Iris has a level 57 one and Ghetsis has a level 52 one

Supposedly there is an item called the Shining Charm which boost the chance of finding shinies

I would have preferred Hilda/Hilbert be the Champion as opposed to Iris (should have stayed the White2 Gym Leader if you ask me), but with all the other beautiful things this game has to offer I can't complain too much.

I'm really excited about the World Tournament and the fact that you can change the game difficulty. If they make choosing your difficulty an option at the beginning of future games then that will make Nuzlocking even more challenging

I'm looking forward to more information on these games. Keep up the good work Dem!

For those of you who take part in Global Link Wi-F tournaments and/or Random Matchup battles a new system is being put in place where anyone who disconnects will be unable to battle again for a short amount of time. It is also thought that anyone who disconnects will have their rating go down too.

Stopping people from battling for a duration (especially a short one) will in no way stop people from disconnecting, and if Nintendo/Game Freak believe it will then they are naive idiots. The rating drop alone would be far more effective than simply barring people from playing for about 5-10 minutes, although both works too.

Otherwise, all good news.

Rather interesting news, especially on Iris's part. I wonder, though, will the other gym leaders be available for battle? :/ probably, but anyway~

And the difficulty settings? Epic. I kind of hope that means in the next few games we can get that before we start the game so I can get more of a challenge!

And N, giving us your Pokemon? Aww, ain't that cute... BUT ITS WRONG D:< jk. Seriously though, it is good to see more trust coming from the guy, and I hope Zorua will be available in game rather than post game like last time.

Also, I'm totally naming my character Kyohei now Though the rival... its not bad I guess... but I would rather him be named something like Hihiroshi like the fans have been referring to him as XD Oh well, at least we can name him~ Which also brings up the question: Is the other playable character seen at all? Or for that matter, Hilbert or Helga?

All seems good to me, the difficulty settings are interesting. Can't wait~

I got my hands on a Japanese copy and if you want to I can tell you some things about it.
On my way to the third gymleader with Tepig, Horsebug, Azumaril and Magnemite in my team. I love how many different Pokemon you find in this game.

Best feature so far: When repel runs out it asks you if you want to refresh it.
