Some Pokemon must learn a certain move before they are able to evolve. Often, these moves can be learnt by the Pokemon naturally at a certain level. After the battle in which the Pokemon has learnt the required move has ended, the Pokemon will evolve. Some however, can only learn the desired move via the Move Relearner. This method of evolution was introduced in Generation IV

Only four moves are known to effect Pokemon in this way: Ancient Power, Double Hit, Mimic and Rollout.
