Say hello to Bianca, one of your childhood friends from Nuvema Town, the town in which you start the game. You'll first meet her at the beginning of the game along with the player's other friend Cheren.

Role within the game

Bianca is a bit of an airhead, and as such she isn't the most reliable person. However, that isn't to say she isn't without a serious side, which comes out whenever she decides to challenge you to a battle. She embarks alongside the player and Cheren despite her father's objections.

Bianca, along with Cheren, plays the role of your rival throughout the game and chooses the Starter PokeMon with a type disadvantage to yours.
