As you complete various tasks within the Dream World, you earn points. You can see these points by looking at your Global Link profile and click the Dream World tab. Dream World points are a levelling system, and when you have enough you unlock new Pokemon, items and eventually - new areas. You'll also unlock more berry-growing rows.

As a bonus, if you accumulate 500 points or more in one visit, your sleeping Pokemon will gain a level on its next visit.

You can earn Dream Points using the following methods;

Method	Points
Trade an item with a friend	1 Point
Water your friend's berries	10 Points
Harvest Berries	10 Points
Complete mini-games in the Dream Isle	10-30 Points
Send your chosen Dream World Pokemon to your main game	50 Points
