Role within the game

Elesa is the fourth Gym Leader in the game, found in Nimbasa City. She trains Electric-type Pokemon, and gives out theBolt Badge and TM72 Volt Switch when defeated.

After you defeat her she will escort the player and Cheren to Driftveil Drawbridge, and she will call Clay and ask him to lower the bridge, allowing the player to get to Driftveil City. Elesa later appears near the end of the game with the other Gym Leaders and battles the Seven Sages.
