Fennel is Professor Juniper's good friend, and helps her with her Pokemon research. Her main areas of study are the C-Gear and the Global Link.

Role within the game

Fennel will pop up throughout the game, with helpful words of advice or gifts to aid you on your quest. It would seem that she gives you HM Cut. She's also the one that will teach you about the Dream World and give you the C-Gear.
