Japanese name: Sekka City

Located beyond Twist Mountain and to the south of the Dragonspiral Tower is Icirrus City, a small city of mountains and swamps, except in Winter, where it all freezes over.

Features

Icirrus City evokes a sort of a European feel, with windmills all around and large puddles where you may encounter wild Palpitoad and Stunfisk. Children seem to dance in a circle near a tree in some hick cult practice folk tradition.

The TMs for Blizzard, Thunder and Fire Blast are available for purchase in the PokeMart, and an old woman in the Pokemon Center will give you TM31 Brick Break.

In the same Pokemon Center, there is a man who will purchase nuggets, pearls and evolution stones from you for twice the price they will net you in a PokeMart.

This city showcases a seasonal difference: in winter, snow piles up, allowing access to several cliffs inaccessible in other seasons.

Events

This city is fairly uneventful, though once you beat the gym, all hell is about to break loose.

Gyms

The gym here, a typical ice puzzle from hell, is owned by Brycen, who specializes in (guess!) Ice-type Pokémon.

In this gym you get to do the usual ice-skating. The gimmick THIS time involves curved walls which send you on a spiraling loop of ensured death. These walls can be rotated, leading to new places. Eventually, you will make it to Brycen.

Brycen will bestow the Freeze Badge upon the trainers who succeed in defeating him. With this badge in your possession you can control Pokemon up to level 70. You will also receive TM79 Ice Breath. A relatively weak attack, but it always lands a critical hit.
