Mistralton City

Mistralton City, where you can believe you can touch the sky.

Japanese name: Fukiyose City

On the other side of the mysterious Chargestone Cave, south of the Celestial Tower and southwest of Twist Mountain lies Mistralton City, a city with multiple associations with air and the ethereal.

Features

Despite being called a city, Mistralton is rather small, about as large as Striaton City. Perhaps the most notable feature of the town is airport, complete with a large runway and several aircraft parked upon it. As far as we know, these serve a purely cosmetic value, but it is said that the planes are all cargo planes and used for shipments.

The PokeMart features the TMs for all four major weather effects: Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Sandstorm and Hail.

A person in the Pokemon Center will tell you what is your Pokemon's Hidden Power.

The Move Relearner and Move Deleter are here as well, at the same house. Convenience ftw!

You can find Item tm-flying.pngTM40 Aerial Ace by talking to a boy in one of the city's two houses, then finding it lying at the bottom-left hand side of the runway. You will also be given Item tm-flying.pngTM58 Sky Drop in Mistralton.

Events

  • In this town, you will first meet Professor Juniper's father, who will upgrade your PokeDex with the ability to view formes.
  • Before you can face the gym leader you must follow her to the Celestial Tower, this region's obligatory Pokemon Graveyard - she is apparently worried about a Pokemon living there, though what that Pokemon is, you never get to see.
  • After getting the badge you will run into N, who starts talking. After noting how he admires your relationship with your Pokemon he walks off.

Gym

The gym here, probably a converted aircraft hangar, is owned by Skyla, who specializes in Flying-type Pokemon.

In this gym you have to play Human Cannonball. A Lot. You get around the gym by using large cannons to fire yourself from platform to platform, battling trainers as you go along, making your way to Skyla.
