Where're my details?
The Games Database software is throwing a hissy fit right now and this bit isn't working. We'll have a fix up ASAP.
Japanese name: Masara Town
This is the 'Starter Town' in Red, Green, Blue and Yellow, and is the place where young trainers start their journeys. To the north is Route 1, and to the south is Route 21.
Pallet Town is small, quiet and peaceful. Nothing much happens here. It is the home of Blue, and is the player's hometown. Professor Oak's laboratory is here.
The biggest choice in the game is given to you here: Which starter will you choose? Once you've picked one of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, you'll have your first trainer battle against your rival, Blue. He will have the starter with the type-advantage to you.

If you're playing Yellow version, then this choice is made for you: Professor Oak will give you Pikachu, and Blue receives Eevee.
Eevee Lv. 5 |
In addition to the starter pokemon, some pokemon can be caught in Pallet Town by fishing.
