Route 17 is west of Route 1 and leads to Route 18 and the P2 Laboratory. This route is only accessible after the player receives Surf.

Features

The route is entirely water-based, and requires the player to use powerful currents to find his or her way to Route 18. On this route the P2 Laboratory is found. There are a few items here and there, the most important of them being TM06 Toxic.
