Route 3, which connects Striaton City to Nacrene City will take a bit longer than Route 2 to get through.

Features

It features many more trainers to battle as well as plot development. On this route you will find the Daycare, though you will only be allowed to give one Pokemon to the old woman at the start. Later on once you've met the Daycare man in Nimbasa City (who'll give you a Bike) you'll be able to leave two Pokemon at once, allowing you to breed the Pokemon if they're compatible.

Next to the Daycare is a Nursery school, where you will find several five-year-olds to battle. You will also find the entrance to the Wellspring Cave on this route.

Events

• Route 3 features a rival battle with Cheren.
• After you defeat Cheren a pair of Team Plasma grunts will run past you with Bianca and a little girl in pursuit. Bianca explains how Team Plasma stole the little girl's Pokemon. You and Cheren will run after the grunts and find them in the Wellspring Cave. One grunt will battle the player, and once defeated two grunts will face off against the player and Cheren in a double battle.

Once defeated the grunts will give back the stolen Pokemon and you can leave the cave. Before going home the little girl will give the player a Heal Ball as thanks.

There are a wide variety of trainers on this route, from pre-schoolers to Ace Trainers. Be sure to level up a much as possible.
