Route 5 is rather minuscule and connects Nimbasa City to the Driftveil Drawbridge, which then leads to Driftveil City itself.

Features

There is very little to this route. Close to the city there is a trailer home on this route, inside of which you will find a creepy nice woman who will smell out any food in your bag and offer to buy it from you. Outside of the trailer is a large gathering of NPCs, some of which are trainers.

Directly west of Route 5 lies the Driftveil Drawbridge.

Events

• After defeating Elesa she will meet you on this route in order to get Clay to lower the drawbridge.

• Route 5 features a rival battle with Cheren after you get the Bolt Badge.

• After your battle you will meet Alder, the Unova League Champion. He speaks to both you and Cheren and asks for you to battle a pair of kindergartners together. Cheren undergoes some character development.
