Route 9 begins at the end of the Tubeline Bridge and continues all the way to Opelucid City.

Another short route. You'll find a lot of bikers and other shady individuals. There is also a mall called Shopping Mall Nine, the Nine meaning Route 9. It's not quite like the generic Department Store from previous generations. It doesn't offer quite as much, but there are trainers inside. This also makes Black and White the first games where the largest store isn't located in one of the larger cities.

The first person you see on the route, a baseball player, will give you TM56 Fling. Inside the mall a skier on the top level will give you a Thunder Stone.

Shopping Mall Nine has a back room that you can access which is full of boxes. The man inside will explain that the boxes are full of outdated electronics. If you bring Rotom with you, you can interact with one of the boxes - inside of which you'll find the items that will change its forme.

Also on Route 9 is the entrance to the Challenger's Cave - which can be accessed after you receive the National Dex.
