Emmet and Ingo are the masters of the Battle Subway and rank among the some of the most powerful trainers in the Unova region. They are much like Frontier Brains from past generations in that they only appear after you defeat so many opponents on the Battle Subway. Their outfits are based upon those of railway conductors.

Role within the game

Ingo will appear on the Green and Dark Green lines after the player has defeated 20 opponents, and then again after the player has beaten 48.

Emmet will appear on the Red and Pink lines in the same manner, after the player has defeated 20 and then 48 opponents.

Both Emmet and Ingo will challenge you and your partner on the Orange and Yellow lines, again, after 20 and then 48 wins.

In the Anime

They have yet to appear in the anime.
