Your Garden (Dream World)

As well as your Dream World House, you are also given your own little garden. Just like your house, people can visit it and interact with you.

Berry Growing

DWBerries.png

This is a very important aspect of the Dream World, as you cannot grow berries in the current Generation V games. Couple that with the fact you can't trade any items over from Generation IV and you can see why your little garden may be important, especially for anyone who battles competitively.

Most berries are found and collected by visiting the Dream Isle areas Pleasant Forest, Windswept Sky and Sparkling Sea. Once you've found a berry, you can plant them in your garden and from here, the general berry growing routine is pretty much the same as it would be in game. You can water your berries and have others water them for you with the watering can. Some berries take longer to grow than others.

To begin with, you'll have two rows for growing berries (four plants per row), but upon amassing Dream Points you can gain a third and fourth row. The values needed are 900 and 2,100 respectively.

Share Shelf

The Share Shelf is your only way of trading within the Dream World. You can trade up to nine items at a time. While most Dream World items can be found during your Dream Isle visits, there is a certain family of berries that can only be obtained via trade. They are the 'Damage reducing' berries, such as Yache and Occa berries. You are given one out of the seventeen berries when you first enter the Dream World and so if you want the others you'll need to find them on other member's Share Shelves. It may take some patience hunting them down, but they can sure make a difference in battle.

Trading is very simple. Leave what you are offering on your shelf and wait for someone to trade with you. Or, if you see something you like on another person's Shelf, all you need do is swap it with an item of your own. While this system does mean you don't always receive a fair trade, it does make for some simple and fast trading.

Dream Isle

To the left of your Berry Garden, and right of your Share Shelf, is the rainbow leading to the Dream Isle.
