Yep, it's that moment you've all been waiting for! We finally have a date for just when we will receive more details to do with Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2. Some of you may remember that on last week's edition of Japanese TV show Pokémon Smash they announced that they would make an announcement of some sort to do with Pokémon on their next show. Many thought the announcement would revolve around the two new games with us still lacking any really solid details. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Pokémon Smash have today announced that details to do with Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2 will be given on next weeks show, which is due to air on the 8th of April. That means this week's announcement won't revolve around the two games, and at this stage it could be anything.

It does mean this week's announcement could be something quite small, or something which won't effect fans outside of Japan. It will be worth keeping a close eye on regardless though. We all know how crazy Pokémon Smash are when it comes to making announcements.

It's also worth noting a new edition of Nintendo Direct is rumoured to be in the works for the 13th, 14th, or 15th of April. The 13th being a Friday it's quite likely the show will be streamed then if the rumours are true, and it could give us some details on the two new games itself.

Black Kyurem & White Kyurem Confirmed To Be Dragon & Ice Type

With all new main-series Pokémon games comes the release of new cases for gamers to store their handheld console in. Said cases normally feature the mascots of the latest games, and this year is no different with cases being released in Japan that feature Black Kyurem and White Kyurem. The cases also feature a few small details to do with the two Pokémon, most notably being the fact it confirms the two will keep Kyurem's typing of Dragon & Ice. It is unknown if the two will change type once they go into their recently confirmed Overdrive mode, but that does seem unlikely.
