It's the day Japanese TV show Pokémon Smash airs in Japan again, and it is the day the show has confirmed it will give details on the latest main-series Pokémon games Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2. However, it might not be the only date worth noting down.

Japanese magazine TV Game is claiming that the episode of Pokémon Smash which is due to air on the 15th of April will include even more details on the new games, and should also include the first footage of them. This likely means that any details that are due to be given on the 8th are likely to be quite small so as to hype up the show for the week after. It's also worth noting that details from Japanese magazine CoroCoro should come in before the 15th, and Pokémon Smash are known to just use the same details as seen in the magazine for most announcements. However the idea of footage of the two games does sound very promising, and well worth keeping an eye on the show for, if you weren't planning to anyway.
