We have reached that time of the month once more, where Japanese magazine CoroCoro leaks and brings us the latest Pokémon news. This month is no different and we have a ton of Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 details, so read on to find out more!
The first scan from CoroCoro confirmes the return of the Poké Transfer in the two games, allowing you to trade Pokémon from fourth generation games into these two. It also reveales some interesting version exclusive Pokémon. For gamers picking up Pokémon Black 2 they will have access to Buneary and Magby, while gamers who pick up Pokémon White 2 will be able to catch Elekid and Skitty. The scan lastly confirmes that Black Kyruem will have the ability Teravolt, while White Kyruem will have the ability Turboblaze.
The second scan details some version exclusive areas between the two games. Firstly White Forest and Black City are both being given a slight redesign and will be included once again. However, two completely new areas will also be included. Players who choose Pokémon Black 2 will have access to a cave filled with water, while players with Pokémon White 2 will have access to a cave filled with magma.
The third scan gives us another look at the new design for Nimbasa City Gym Leader, Elesa. The scan also confirms that Elesa now has a Flaaffy on her team and that the Leader has turned her Gym into a bit of a fashion show since we last saw it. The scan then goes on to detail that Team Plasma seems to be currently split into two groups, one made up of the old members and another group made up of newer members. It seems throughout the course of the story the two groups will meet, no doubt leading to trouble.
The fourth scan gives us a better look at Keldeo in its new forme and details on how it changes form. To change Keldeo into its Resolution forme it must have learnt Secret Sword and then you need to take it along with Virizion, Cobalion and Terrakion to the forest near Sangi Town. Sangi Town is seemingly the second town that players will visit while playing the games. The scan goes on to explain that Meloetta unlocks some kind of special mission in the two games when taken to the café in Castelia City. This is also where it changes forme. The scan also confirms the first wi-fi event for the two games. The event will see a special Piplup knowing the move Sing given over wi-fi from the 20th of July until the 9th of August. The event is likely to celebrate the return of Piplup in the Pokémon Best Wishes: 2 anime series.
The fifth scan gives fans details to do with the Pokémon Dream Radar app. It confirms that players will not only be able to catch rare Pokémon such as Porygon, they will also be able to find rare items such as Thunderstones which can then be traded to Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2.The scan goes on to give details on just how Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus will change form. To change their form you must use a special item called Reflecting Mirror, however you must have first caught the new formes with the Dream Radar. This meaning that the item likely won't work on Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus if they were caught within Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.
The last scan of this month's CoroCoro explains which abilities Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus are given in their new formes. Tornadus will have the ability Regenerator, Thundurus will have Volt Absorb, while Landorus will have Intimidate.
