Today has marked an exciting day for Pokémon fans as a few lucky gamers in Japan have received their copies of Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 ahead of their official release on the 23rd. Because of this a number of interesting details to do with the two games have been given during the coverage of the gameplay. I won't cover every little thing, just more major details, but for those who don't want any spoilers at all please don't read past this point. For those that do want to know more, read on!

• The World Tournament is based in Driftveil City. Inside you will also come across the Move Deleter and Move Relearner. Driftveil City is also home to the first Move Tutor who will teach your Pokémon the following moves: Bounce, Bug Bite, Covet, Drill Run, Dual Chop, Fire Punch, Guk Shot, Ice Punch, Iron Head, Low Kick, Seed Bomb, Signal Beam, Super Fang, Thunderpunch, and Uproar.
• The second Move Tutor within the game will teach your Pokémon the moves:  Aqua Tail, Block, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Electroweb, Foul Play, Gravity, Hyper Voice, Ice Wind, Iron Tail, Iron Defense, Last Resort, Magnet Rise, Magic Coat, Superpower, and Zen Headbutt.
• The third Move Tutor will teach your Pokémon the moves: Bind, Drain Punch, Giga Drain, Heal Bell, Heat Wave, Knock Off, Pain Split, Role Play, Roost, Sky Attack, Synthesis, and Tailwind. 
• The names for the playable male/female characters in the game have been confirmed along with the name for your rival. Your rival goes by the name of Hyu/Hugh, while the playable female character is known as Mei. The playable male character goes by the name of Kyouhei.
• Once you have completed the game once you will be able to change the diffculty level between three different settings; Normal Mode, Assist Mode, and Challenge Mode. In Challenge Mode the levels of Pokémon owned by trainers are upped a fair amount, some even hit around level 79.
• For those of you who take part in Global Link Wi-F tournaments and/or Random Matchup battles a new system is being put in place where anyone who disconnects will be unable to battle again for a short amount of time. It is also thought that anyone who disconnects will have their rating go down too.
• N is being a fairly nice guy and giving us some of his old Pokémon. Currently we know he will give players a Pidove, Sigilyph and Zorua.
• Black Kyurem and White Kyurem are confirmed to be "fusions" of Kyurem and Reshiram/Zekrom. The Pokémon can be fused and unfused through the use of an item.
• Iris is no longer a Gym Leader in Unova, but have no fear. She isn't completely gone as she now stands as the champion of the Unova League.
• Interestingly some Hoenn battle music has been found within the two games. You can hear it here.
• Players will be able to obtain some fairly rare Pokémon in the two games, such as Latios, Regirock, Cresselia and Uxie.
