After quite a quiet time recently when it comes to Pokémon news, the last couple of days have seen several interesting stories pop up. Nintendo have announced that certain HMV stores in the UK will be celebrating the launch Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 a week early with special events being held tomorrow. The special Pikachu 3DS XL has been confirmed to be making its way to Europe, the musical Pokémon Meloetta has finally been revealed outside of Japan, and the upcoming Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game for the 3DS has been dated for Japanese release. Pokémon Black & White 2 Launch Events At HMV Tomorrow
Nintendo has today announced through their UK 3DS page that certain HMV stores will be offering demo's of Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 a week before their official release, they'll also be kicking off the launch in style by hosting special events to celebrate their release. The events will take place in certain HMV stores this Saturday, tomorrow. Fans who head down to the event will find special Pokémon trainers to battle against if they bring their Nintendo DS or 3DS system along with a copy of Pokémon Black or Pokémon White. The event will also be giving fans the chance to take a closer look at the up-coming 3DS apps the Pokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro along with allowing fans to learn more about the rare Pokémon Genesect before fans can obtain it from the up-coming Wi-Fi event from the 12th of October. It's also being said that if you head down to an event dressed as a Pokémon character there will be a few prizes given out.

Pikachu 3DS XL Coming To Europe

Yesterday saw the latest edition of Nintendo Direct being streamed to Europe, among the trailers and general news Nintendo did make one announcement to excite Pokémon fans. The special limited edition Pikachu 3DS XL system which was released earlier this year has been confirmed to be headed to Europe before the end of the year. Like in Japan the console will be released in limited numbers (although how many currently isn't clear), but with Nintendo aiming to release the console before the end of this year we should know more soon.
Meloetta Officially Revealed Outside of Japan

The rare musical Pokémon Meloetta has finally been revealed outside of Japan. The cute Pokémon has been quite overlooked recently with the reveal of both Keldeo and Genesect being revealed first. It isn't clear yet just how fans will be able to obtain the Pokémon, but details will no doubt follow soon.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate & The Infinity Labyrinth Official Japanese Release Date Confirmed

The latest game in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series of games has had its Japanese release date confirmed. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate & The Infinity Labyrinth will be released for the 3DS in Japan on the 23rd of November. The game will be released both in-stores and through the 3DS' eShop.
This will be the first Mystery Dungeon game for the Nintendo 3DS and will see you take the role of either Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott or Axew. This is the first game in the Mystery Dungeon series which features Pokémon from the fifth generation.
