A few small details to do with Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 have also been revealed along with English release dates for the Pokémon AR Searcher and Pokédex 3D Pro 3DS apps. Read on to find out more!

Now, over the weekend the latest scans from CoroCoro were released and among a ton of details to do with the up-coming Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 games a few changes to the Pokémon anime series in Japan were also detailed. Among those details it was confirmed that the series will be switching into a second season on the 21st of June, and now we also have a few interesting plot details to do with the season thanks to Famitsu.

We now know that Ash will be travelling to the eastern part of Unova alongside the Sinnoh League Champion, Cynthia. The eastern part of Unova is seemingly where all the none-Unova Pokémon hang out, which explains how the series will start to include some Pokémon from past generations. On his travels Ash will bump into Dawn, who travelled with Ash during his adventures in Sinnoh. From the details given it seems that Dawn won't be travelling with Ash again and will just feature in one or two episodes much like May's return during Ash's Sinnoh adventure. Ash also bumps into the musical Pokémon Meloetta, who goes on to travel with him. However Team Rocket are after the poor Pokémon, and with Giovanni said to be leading the group into their biggest plot in history that likely means trouble for Ash and co.

Caitlin of the Unova Elite Four will make her anime debut in this new season. She will be seen taking part in the World Tournament Junior Cup alongside Cynthia. The winner will then be going on to battle the Unova champion, Alder. Ash is also confirmed to be getting a new rival, however just who the rival is has yet to be revealed.

A picture going around the internet also shows that Team Plasma could be making their anime debut at some point in the near future, however it's currently unclear if Team Plasma will be featured in the actual Pokémon anime series, or if they will just be featured in an anime short which is currently being rumoured. The picture could be from a currently unreleased trailer for something to do with the anime but even that isn't completely confirmed yet. The trailer is thought to show off an anime short based on Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 which will feature the playable male character from the games. A leaked image can be seen below, and the Team Plasma image could also be from the same trailer. We'll have to see what happens.

Pokédex 3D Pro and Pokémon Dream Radar News

In other news, release dates for the Pokémon AR Searcher and Pokédex 3D pro Nintendo 3DS apps have been revealed. Both will be released in the Autumn through the eShop for the UK and America, and the Pokémon AR Searcher has undergone a name change. It will now be titled Pokémon Dream Radar in the UK (the name is currently unconfirmed for America), which fits with the fact the game takes place in a location between dreams called the Dream Valley. The app is currently the only way that fans will be able to get their hands on the new forms of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus in Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2. Players will have to catch the new forms in the app and then trade them over to the new main series titles. It has also been confirmed that the trading will be done through one 3DS console though which is always helpful.

As for Pokédex 3D Pro, it has now been confirmed that gamers will have access to the details of every Pokémon right from the start and won't have to trade or collect them through Spotpass day by day.
