True, but Emolga is the exception here - the other 9 out of 10 are all immensely overhyped creatures (Emolgas georg who lives in a cave is a statistical outlier, etc.)

Also curious - what is this data based on? incidence of tags? Because I also wonder how many corner works from before the implementation of tags are not properly tagged due to artists leaving etc.

It's based on tags, yes. It may be slightly inaccurate if people use different tags, like #pikachu, but I've been trying to track those down and merge them.

To be fair, Mimkyu -is- adorable as frell. Although I really wish it had more disguises available than just the Pikachu one. Totally going to write a character with a low-budget Bulbasaur cosplayer one XD
