The Pokémon Company has confirmed previous speculation from earlier datamines and official teases that Generation VI starter Pokémon, Delphox, will be the next combatant in Pokémon Unite.

A tease on Twitter yesterday also confirmed that it will be a Ranged Attacker, and earlier leaks have also confirmed that it will be a full three-stage evolution in-game, bringing Fennekin and Braixen into the game along with it.

Earlier this week, Pokémon Unite also launched a brand new battle mode allowing you to take control of AI Pokémon on the playing field after defeating and capturing them – effectively adding Pokémon like Articuno, Zapdos and Regigigas to the playable roster in a fashion too.
