Mystic Hero Event Starts Next Thursday in Pokémon Go, featuring a Team Mystic themed Lapras
The ‘A Mystic Hero’ event is coming to Pokémon Go next Thursday, April 13th, 2023, at 10:00 am local time. This event focuses on research tasks and Pokémon evolution and will run until Monday, April 17th 8:00 pm local time. During this time, players will have access to a variety of rewards and bonuses.
For starters, players can earn 2x XP for every Pokémon they evolve, as well as two guaranteed Candy XL for doing so. Additionally, Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Players will also be able to participate in a special research story, ‘A Mystic Hero’, featuring Team Mystic’s leader, Blanche. Completing the research will reward players with an encounter with a special Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory. This will be the only way to encounter this Lapras during this season.
Field Research tasks will also be available, focusing on evolving and catching Pokémon, with rewards such as Stardust and Evolution items. Additionally, Timed Research will be available, rewarding a Magnetic Lure.
Players should be aware that the Seasonal Special Research, An Everyday Hero, will still be available throughout Season 10: Rising Heroes, with the research being available to claim until the end of Season 10 on June 1st, 2023 at 10:00 am.
